Wrench Repipe is a flat out life saver.

About seven years ago i had my hot water heater replaced with a tankless flash hot water heater. It was a bit expensive, but loved the convenience. With a large family it was great never running out of hot water. But last year we started having problems. The hot water would suddenly stop, it wouldn't turn on sometimes and other strange things. Last week it stopped working all together.

The plumber who originally put in our flash tankless was long gone, so we called one of those recognizable plumbing companies that advertises any drain for $99 because they stated tankless hot waterheaters on their website and it was terrible. The plumber seemed to know what he was doing, but the whole thing was a disaster.

At first he said the wrong exhaust pipe had been used, not enough ventilation, we needed a water filter and it had never beed scale-serviced. The original guy never mentioned scale-serivicing and we had our suspicions about his skill level after it had been installed.

I don't think anyone is ever prepared for when something like this unexpectedly happens, and we certainly weren't prepared for the type of money the current plumber was telling us we needed. We asked if he could do something to just get us by for a few months and he said he could, but could not guarantee exactly how long it would work, but it was around one to three months. That was perfect!!!

Thats where the problems started. This guy started taking the flash tankless apart and couldn't put it back together. We had no idea this type of thing could happened with a reputable plumbing company. He claimed the flash tankless was so far gone it couldn't be put back together which frankly seemed not believable. Never the less the plumber said this unit couldn't be repaired and we had to go with a new, and very expensive BTW, flash tankless. At least we were only charged $256, but thought for that amount it should've been put back together.

But at least this is the point we started making progress. I mentioned our current situation to a friend and they mentioned having a friend that had a great flash tankless installed by a Riverside local plumbing company. That's when we discovered Wrench Re-Pipe! It's a very small company and got a voicemail, but was pleasantly surprised to get a phone text back a little over an hour later. The plumber messaged he was on a job and would get over as soon as he could. Later that evening, we received a text saying he was on the way.

When Alan arrived, he confirmed there were plenty of problems with the original installation, even mentioning it had been put in the wrong place and the exhaust pipes were even dangerous. He was going to try to put together, but somehow the cup holding various screw had spilled and said putting together a flash tankless with unknown parts would get us into trouble.

Plan B was explained very thoroughly and simply and we ended up going with an affordable flash tankless but decided to upgrade the scale filter to a soft water system at our flash tankless. Soft water is great!!! Of course money was an issue, BUT the system Alan put in with the soft water upgrade was a few hundred dollars more than the system the other plumber had quoted for a cheap flash tankless without even a basic canister scale filter.

If you have problems with your flash tankless, Wrench Re-Pipe is the best by far. He even helped with a partial payment and holding a check for 2 weeks. All I can say is wow and thanks!!!

I called WRENCH Re-Pipe after ...

I called WRENCH Re-Pipe after going through a major disaster with another plumbing company (the name of which will remain undisclosed because they admitted fault). I had heard about WRENCH Re-pipe and saw their excellent reviews. These I can only confirm. The service technician came the next day, perfectly on time. Following an examination of the foundation of the house and specific areas that I suspected to contain moisture he examined the sewer system with a video camera and checked the water pipes. Not only was I charged one-third of the price of the other company, I got all my questions answered and all concerns were addressed. The technician was highly competent, efficient, and professional. In contrast to the plumber of the other company who neither recorded the film nor wrote a report, the written report and the video recording were sent to me via e-mail that same day. Most important, unlike the other company, WRENCH Re-Pipe was honest. When looking at an expensive repair, it’s very important to be able to believe your technician.

In summary, the service provided by WRENCH Re-Pipe was outstanding and priced well. I highly recommend this company.
