We had an electrical outage in part of our home and Calhoun was able to help us solve it over the phone...no charge. Obviously could have come out and charged us money to fix it, but thought it might be simple so guided us to solution. Wonderful thing to do, all too rare these days.

Overall

This happened December 11th 8PM on a Friday night where wind was causing the overhead wires to rub together causing a short. Also the ground wire connection was bad causing high and low voltages inside the house. Night temperatures dipped to 20 degrees and three children live in the house. PNM came and were about to cut the wires turning off my power. They told me to hire an electrician to remedy the problem before power would be restored. Thankfully Mr. Calhoun advised me that this was PNM's problem and I should stand my ground. When I did, PNM installed a new Ground wire clamp to balance the voltage and put an insulator on the rubbed wires. Thank You Mr. Calhoun for your guidance. Without his help, the power would have been out for days until I could find an electrician to solve a problem that wasn't mine to solve. Bruce Stouter
