Safeguard Self Storage

the cost of the storage is out of line with the amenities-- primarily the access hours as well as the actual access. one bay for vehicles and not reliable nor dedicated on-street parking makes this facility a less than good value. while the facilities were clean-- and new-- this did not override the cost increases and the lack of access making this a poor choice over other facilities in the area. no, i would not recommend this facility.

From start to finish the customer service was AWESOME !!!!!!!! I called the general number online and spoke with a call Center rep name Kathy, she was great. I told her what I was moving and right off of the back she knew what size I would need, I let her know that I would still be shopping around however she still held a reservation for me . A few minutes after hanging up from Kathy, Carlos from the Ridgewood Queens location called to confirm my reservation. Listen the guy was great. I wanted to rent the unit before I even got a chance to view it. He explained everything to me verbatim and invited my mom and I to come in. As soon as we got there we felt comfortable from the minute we walked in. This guy literally has patience out of this world. My mom and I were so indecisive about the size we needed, he showed us EVERY single unit that he felt would accommodate us. I kid you not we were there for about an hour JUST LOOKING. We went home and came back two days later after we decided on a size and he was awesome awesome awesome very personable and knowledgeable. The company has some great promos also . Very affordable company with knowledgeable staff. If you’re looking to rent a storage unit go with them you won’t be sorry! I am not easy to please, and even I was WOWED!!!!
