Nail City

This nail salon was terrible ! They seated me rather quickly, and got started right away. I had paul as my nail tech. I dont think he could see very well because my nails are uneven. His polishing skills were worse than anything. Overall my nails are terrible, and i will not be back .

Very, very disappointed. Came to get a gel fill. I was pressed on time (had 45 minutes) and cleared with person there that I would be able to be in and out (there was only one customer in the store). "No problem". Well, the gel was put on and the nail polish was too wet -- so nails were noticeably bumpy. He told me I could come back same day and he would fix. I came back around 3:30 and he "tried" to fix them....wouldn't work without taking all the polish off, and I didn't have time for that, so said I would come back after another appointment I had. He said to call and he would wait for me (which he did, and I appreciated). Took all the nail polish off, put it on again, waited....then the gel...all seemed to be OK....until I finally took a shower at midnight, and noticed that the heat from the water made the gel bumpy AGAIN! I told myself I didn't (couldn't) care anymore because I had already spent a total of 2 1/2 hours there on my day off and as a widowed mom, am VERY limited on time. BUT....as I am simply putting a picture in a picture frame this morning -- guess what -- index nail pops off! I am so DONE! I will go up there one more time....only because they have the matching nail polish, it is the holidays, and I don't have the time to go through the whole ordeal of having someone do all my nails again (again, at this point, I CANNOT CARE that my nails are bumpy; they aren't "as" bumpy as the first time, but after paying $37, I shouldn't have this aggravation.) So that is why I am rating this place a "1". Was Tony accommodating? Absolutely. But nails should be done right the first time, and if there wasn't time to do them right in the initial 45 minutes I had, they should have told me so, and I would have left.
