        Our firm was established in 1984 as Breck Barton & Associates, P.A. by Attorney, Breck Barton. At that time Mr. Barton had 8 years prior experience in the accident and injury litigation field and, after a substantial tenure with his old firm, determined he could better serve his clients by instituting his own law firm.In August of 2021, our firm name changed from Breck Barton & Associates. P.A. to Barton Atkinson & Murdoch, P.C. Our Attorneys and support staff, are highly experienced in many areas of the law and are committed to the best interests of our clients. Both Mr. Barton and Mr. Atkinson speak Spanish and are able to help and communicate with people who may feel more comfortable speaking Spanish.

        I had a legal matter settled by Mr. Barton. It was a sticky mess. He took the time to explain to me my options and the best way to proceed. He was professional and courteous. And, we ended up getting a settlement in my favor. He is an outstanding lawyer and seemed to be a decent person. In fact, I found out he used to be the president of the Idaho lawyers association. I would recommend him highly.

        High priced, took over a month after initial meeting to do any work on my behalf.

        Took over 1-month to get the action dispute put together and sent out. He then charged me for revisions to letters, when all I had to correct was misspelled words and incorrect information (wrong addresses!)After the dispute was sent out, he sends me a contract to sign, agreeing to all the misc charges. and included an outrageous bill.
