All American Towing

UNETHICAL, RUDE, PREDATOR... This company also owns Guardian Towing. I understand there is a need to manage parking, but Guardian Towing preys on college students. They violate fairness and integrity. My son started college this fall and lives off campus in student approved housing. He was given a parking pass that he stuck on his gas cap. Tuesday morning he notice a boot on his tire on the side the sticker was placed. He called Guardian and they apologized and said they did not see the pass but would still have to charge him $60 to remove the boot. My son paid the fee because he had to go to work that afternoon and did not want to be late. He then went to the Apartment Manager and the credited him $25 and said there is nothing they could do. My husband and I called the Apartment Manager and again she said there is nothing she could do. So, we called Guardian and they said they did not see the parking pass and that it was in the wrong place so we would have to eat the cost. This is an UNETHICAL way to run a business. Some of these kids are trying to put themselves through school to make something of themselves and you have a business like Guardian who prey on them. I could have understood if there was no pass anywhere, but our son did have a parking pass on the vehicle, parked legally at his apartment in his parking spot. City of Rexburg should fine business for running shady business and preying on college students. Shame on the College Approved Apartment complex for not taking care of the students. If this apartment complex does not make it right, then there will be a complaint against them as well and we will move our son to another apartment at the end of this semester. We will make sure that anyone we know will know of the shady business practices of not only Guardian but this apartment complex.
