Provided by DexKnowsMy husband and I were craving good Italian food and happily stumbled inthe door at this restaurant. We were greeted by three different people in the first few minutes. The Pear/gorgonzala salad was one of the best. They were out of veal for the dinners we actually wanted ,but the chef promised my husband a chicken picatta that would please him. Our waiter suggested a rigatoni with sauteed Italian sausages in a creamy tomato sauce (much like a vodka sauce).. Both dishes surpassed our expectations. My husband and I both cook and have made veal picatta and other Italian dishes. This restaurant was soooooo GOOD that we are returning tonight for dinner! The salad was pricey, but you would pay 10 more dollars for the other dishes in the Midwest.

Provided by SuperpagesDo not waste your money on this place. It's over-priced, and not very good food. The "veal" in my veal scallopini was so small, I could barely find it under all the sauce, and was way over-priced at $24.95. Rediculous !

Provided by DexKnowsVino's is reopened. We visited today. WAY OVERPRICED, and the food seems like they bought frozen meals and heated them in a microwave. My mother and I ordered Linguine with clams, it was flavorless. My wife had pizza, which she said was not very good. My son ordered a linguine with mixed shell fish, he said it was the worse Italian food he ever had. My daughter ordered duck, which she said was rubbery and flavorless, her boyfriend said that frozen Lasagna from a a supermarket would be more flavorful. We also noticed that the "fresh" Parmesan cheese was powdered... Just like the stuff that Kraft puts in those plastic cans in the supermarket. However, I think this was the generic stuff, as it was not as flavorful as the Kraft brand. For dessert, two people in our party ordered "tangerine sorbet". The BUSBOY came out with one service and said that the freezer had failed, and the rest of the sorbet was ruined. However, he did offer other flavors of ice cream... We wondered why the wait

Provided by SuperpagesThe ambience was wonderful. White tablecloths with an old country feel. Food was great. Unfortunately, the music was overpowering. Couldn't hear myself think. Waitress was unfriendly, but the service was good.
