Texas Soul BBQ

A one man show. Mr. Gomez does it all and in the process cooks up some wonderful BBQ. My wife had the BBQ ribs which were accompanied by a rich dark sauce that was wonderful. The rib meat was quite tender and the flavor was delicious. I had the pulled pork plate and it also was quite flavorful. I cook ribs and pulled pork at home and believe I do a fairly decent job on both, but Mr. Gomez product was astounding. The decor of this restaurant is quite Spartan so if you prefer to have ambience instead of flavor there are plenty of other local places you could choose. When I am hungry for some great BBQ I will return for the most important reason: the food! Try the ribs for sure.
