India Kabab & Curry

The food was very bland. The biryani had no taste. In fact, the white rice tasted better than the biryani. The amounts were atrocious. The curry was served in very small bowls at high prices. I would not recommend this to anyone looking to try quality Indian food.

Great food coupled with exceptional service and Cody environment makes this best place to dine in with family friends and loved ones!

I've been to a few Indian restaurants in the area, and this is by far the best. The atmosphere is great, and it is in a fun location downtown. Parking is sometimes awkward, but the food is totally worth the short drive down the alley.



Their garlic Naan bread is always fluffy and delicious - never overcooked.



If you dine-in your meal is delivered over a candle flame - and if you order take-out you go home with secure containers that keep your food in place.



When you order HOT, you get your food really spicy! So if you are a novice to tear jerking spicy foods I'd suggest ordering at MEDIUM, and even that might be too much for you :)



Service is great too, they are quick to refill your water glass because they know how your mouth is on fire.



All the dishes I have ever tried here are very rich in flavor and spices - never a dull moment at India Kabab and Curry!

I recently was in Reno and wanted to have some Indian tea and samosas. So, my friend and I went to this restaurant. The tea was bitter from being brewed all day long and the samosas were overpowering with too much tumeric. Sometimes one can tolerate bad food if the service is excellent.



In this case, the woman/owner of the restaurant was very rude. She turned off both the televisions in the restaurant. I asked my friend what she was doing. The woman then approached us and asked if we were "done." She then placed the check on the table and walked away. My friend and I took this as an indication that we should leave. We did not finish our tea or the food we ordered. It was bad, however we were resting our feet and enjoying the Indian music videos.

Usually Indian people (I am one) are not this rude. However, I suppose that you can take the woman out of the jungle but you cannot take the jungli out of the woman. Guests are normally treated with kindness.

I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone unless you want "Krude and Crap" for your dining experience.
