Reedsburg Salvage Yard-Jakes

Back in 2008 my Ford van got in a flood near Rock Springs on 136, The next day we went to get the van by that time the van was under water, I know about were it was and told the driver I would hook it up, Then they took the van back to Jakes Salvage. They said no tow fee because I help them hook up van,So I signed the van over to them. I like the place.

I called for a part and they gave me a price, when I arrived the price was higher by another $15!! there answer was to take it or leave it. All at the same time they were talking agmonst each other making derogratory comments about a Female business owner in town. They have a bad attidude when they answer the phone and even worse to there customers in person as well as making sexist comments about others in front of customers!!

This place has horrible customer service, Stay away from this place. They will constantly ask you to call back when its more convenient for them.

Don't trust them!! Drove 70 miles round trip to get a tire for son's car for $45. Brought in old tire on rim that was still holding air but was getting worn. Brought new tire home and put it on son's car and when He got up in the morning to go to work the tire was flat, the car had never been moved! Had to take him to work and then called Jake's to see what they could do for me. They claimed the tire I brought in was flat and maybe the rim was cracked. I insisted that tire was holding air when I brought it in and they said I was LYING that it was flat when brought in. All they would do is fix the tire if I brought it back in (70 mile trip!). NO compensation for all my trips and inconveneince and calling me a lier on top of it. I realize that it's a junk yard but that doesn't give them the rite to screw over my son who has dealt with them several times in the past. I'm so mad right know I could spit. Don't go here unless you want to get SCREWED!!
