The broiler is your traditional, old fashioned steak house. With each order, we received soup and salad. Although the salad was way overdressed for my liking, everything else was delicious. My New York steak was prepared to my order. The prime rib took up most the plate, but I would say a majority of that was fat.

Provided by SuperpagesIn the Ukiah area, no one does steak like the Broiler. In the 20+ years I have been going there, the food is on point every time. If you're looking for a high-end steak house, that exists 90 miles south. The wait staff are experienced and accurate (You get what you order), and the management takes their food quality seriously. The Broiler is not for everyone. Friends of mine from LA can't believe this is considered a classy place for Ukiah. I can't believe they sit in traffic for 2+ hours a day and consider that living. In that case, I guess we're even.

Provided by SuperpagesWe've been going there for over 22 years and have always had an excellent meal. The bread and salad alone is absolutely fabulous and then you get THE meal! You'll be sorry if you pass this one by!

Provided by SuperpagesThe food is decent though not the greatest. We have gone there a few times and the food is consistent and pretty good though I cannot remember how the pricing was. My husbands family used to go there quite often until a few years ago when they ended up in an argument with a very unknowledgeable, unaccommodating, very impolite hostess and managment got involved and was very rude and offensive and we have all yet to go back. In my own experience the management was not very poor, their job is to deal with people and they do it very poorly. We prefer to go places where customers are treated with respect and dealt with appropriately and nicely. I understand the customer can be wrong but there is a way of dealing with people without being quite so rude and abrasive.

Provided by SuperpagesI took my son and nephew out for dinner. I had a Filet Mignon and the boys both had the "Small cut" of prime rib. My steak and their rib roasts were very generous in size and cooked to perfection. The service was prompt and the waitress was very courteous. If I have one complaint it would be the very loud party in the booth behind us which wouldn't be any fault of the wait staff or management. Our dining experience was one worth repeating. I would recommend this restaurant every time.

Provided by SuperpagesManagement would not adjust the bill for an overcooked steak andl were also blamed for ordering the filletmignon well-done by the hostess who was flagrantly rude and the drinks were so watered down that it doesn't warrent the exorbident price that we payed for them. In are party of 13, we have patronized The Broiler for over 30 years. We have never been so disaapointed! The waitresses are the only good thing left! We will not be back!!
