Tae Kwon Champion DO

We were in the 3 year membership, however we decided to cancel 6 months remaining in the membership for personal reasons. We paid all the cancelation fees, we talked to Esmeralda the instructors wife aka secretary and after we paid we asked for our proof of payment or receipt but she denied us one. They work with a company that deals with all of their automatic payments and the issue was they never notify that company of our cancelation they kept withdrawing the remaining monthly payments as if we were still attending. We talked to Esmeralda about it wanting to get an explanation, but she got neurotic/angry and caused a scene, the instruct actually came into the office and took a menacing pose and Esmeralda claim to know nothing about that. We went ahead and talked to the company itself and they told us that Esmeralda never notified them about our cancelation and until she called or notified them about the cancelation they weren't going to stop withdrawing money from our bank account. Until date they continue withdrawing money and the only way I'm getting my refunds is threw the bank where I claim for fraud I continue to talk to her but she keeps playing dumb. Since neither the school nor the payment company helped us, we had to close our bank account which one can imagine how that was inconvenient since we had to cancel all of our automatic payments and remake each and every one, dealing with them is very frustrating and its a never ending struggle when it comes to dealing with payments and other formal arrangement, they don't know how to treat you as a customer. I personally wont recommend them, when we first subscribed they had promised that if for any reason we decide to cancel they would aid us, but obviously that was a HUGE lie. When I had to cancel they one way or the other wouldn't let us and pretty much forced us to continue with the payments even after we paid the cancelation fees. If there was an option of negative 5 stars I would be more than happy to do so, in overall its a horrible place to take your kids to learn taekwondo.
