We found when opening the pack...

We found when opening the packets that a few of the items ordered were not in consonance with our purchase order and therefore we are seeking a response to this issue and compensation for Geisler's mistakes. These mistakes occurred on our third (3rd) purchase order and within thirty (30) days of our first order ever with Geisler Co.

The first issue stems from not correctly supplying us with ALL the parts included for one (1) part order. We spent our time and called the manufacturer and confirmed that the washers were to be included per this exact part specification. Therefore, in order to maintain our customer’s satisfaction, we rushed delivery of the said washers for same-day freight. We incurred additional costs as a result of Geisler's error by not accurately reviewing our purchase order.

Secondly, Geisler did not fulfill the correct quantity requested on our purchase order for which we also had to order anew from another trusted supplier. We are not seeking compensation for our time as we had to speak with you to alert of this mistake, place a new purchase order, and expend higher handling charges for rushed delivery of the correct screws. We are requesting compensation for the actual item costs we incurred because of your mistakes.

When speaking with Mr. den Boer on August 4, I was appalled by his response and excuse that they ship out over 100,000 items/day when it is obvious by the packing slip, the items were incorrectly stated on their initial fulfilment order. Not once did he apologize and his defensive tone and attitude made it impossible to verbally come to terms. In my opinion, Geisler has failed to “make every effort to exceed your expectations whether it is a technical issue, a delivery challenge or a routine order.” We took necessary measures to ensure our customer is happy and Geisler failed to do the same for us (their new customer). This complaint with the Bureau is for a response from Geisler as we have not received one from our letter to the President on August 8.
