We just had dinner there and it is our new favorite place, the food was fantastic and service excellent. They did an incredible job redecorating. All 4 of us were impressed with the great food and the owner came and checked to make sure we enjoyed everything. The crab bisque and dip were awesome!!

We visited the Crab Barn a few years back under the old owners, and were not impressed. We were eager to hear that the Crab Barn was being renovated and reopened under new owners. Upon entering the restaurant the atomosphere is just breathtaking; the decor fits the business perfectly. I love that they have a bar downstairs in the waiting area so you can relax and socialize as you wait for your table. I noticed there was another bar upstairs on the restaurant main level, which was awesome for ensuring speedy service! We had the crab dip and the shrimp for appetizers and they were both phenomenal! I ordered crab cakes as my entree and they came out perfectly. The portions were a good size, I actually took half a crab cake home with me. All around this was an excellent experience and we will definitely be back.

Went to lunch today for the first time since it opened. The restaurant is very nice, good atmosphere for a seafood restaurant. That's the good news. The food was terrible, no taste at all. Crab bisque was watered down, crab and artichoke dip tasted mostly like cream cheese and the cracked conch was so tough it was like eating the soles of my sneakers. For 2 people, we each had a soda, crab bisque and an appetizer, cost was $44.00. Way overpriced for tasteless food!! Too bad because I really like the restaurant but will probably never go back.

We went here for a send-off brunch for my son. We made reservations for 7. Upon arriving the hostess could not find our reservation, and we were made to feel like this was somehow our fault. She was not friendly or unapologetic at first. She seated the reservation that arrived after us without even acknowledging what they were doing for us. It wasn't until one of my party had to speak up that they actually started doing something for us. Not at all a good way to start our dining experience. The manager did apologize and comp us our drinks. The lobster roll was absolutely delicious. But the food reviews at my table were mixed. The one redeeming factor was Ashley, the bartender, super friendly, super apologetic, super accommodating and didn't sweep our issue under the rug. She attacked it head on, owned it and tried to make our experience better!! I would go back simply because she asked us to give them a 2nd chance to make it right! She saved the experience! If she would have been the hostess it would have made a huge difference.
