Paying debt is no fun, but as a former debt collector I understand that it is their job. I owed an old apartment community around $450 and they sent it here. After receiving the notice I spoke with Eve who let me pick my own payment and payment date. I ended up paying it faster than anticipated, but I never had an issue with her. The only thing that is a little inconvenient is that they will not mail you any proof that your debt is fully paid off. To obtain that you do have to physically go to the office in Raytown which isn't close to my home, but oh well.

Unlike everyone else, I've had pretty good interactions with everyone there. Granted, mine were from medical collections. They informed me that they don't report to the credit bureaus. I mail post dated checks when I can and everyone's been pretty polite over the phone.
