Overall

I spent $630 on new American made tires in October of 2013.

In January of 2015 I developed a whining sound and took the car back to Goodyear to have the tires checked for noise.

They called and said they could pro-rate the tires out for around $300.

I authorized the transaction.

They called the next morning and said the alignment was just off and to keep from having the problem again I should have the alignment done.

I agreed.

The total bill was $380.

When they called to say the car was done, they informed me that a wheel bearing was making noise.

Why was I not informed of this before the tires were replaced?

It turns out that the tires were fine and the wheel bearing was the only problem.

If this sounds like good business practice to you, I would do business with this Goodyear store.

If not, I wouldn't.

UPDATE

I contacted Goodyear corporate on the same day that I posted this review.

A couple of hours later I was contacted by the owner/manager of this Goodyear outlet.

He never admitted his complicity but on 3/2/15 I received a check from Goodyear for the full amount spent at the outlet.

I am very satisfied with the results I got from Goodyear corporate and would strongly suggest using them for any problems at local outlets.
