Do not get your hair done here!!! I took my daughter to get her braided and we had to wait 2 hours. To add insult to injury the quality of the braids was way below average and the prices are above market price! I asked for cornrows with extensions and the person was going to add braiding hair just to the tips of her hair. I stopped her and asked her to braid hair all the way through. Then she braids my daughters hair using no oils and with crooked parts. My daughters hair was frizzy through the braids and it looked a tacky mess! I told the braider that I didn't like it and she basically said " so... Your daughters hair was nappy" I told the owner and she just looked at me... Didn't apologize or anything. Don't waste your money!

This is the best Dominican hair salon I've been to. The atmosphere is nice and all the people are friendly. They accept walk ins even if they're about to close. They will stay as long as it takes to make sure your hair is perfect. Also I've never been disappointed with my hair at this salon.

I've been going to this salon for 3/years I think they do good work .My daughter is 8 but super long hair and she love the results it last a while for the price is pretty good.I will say the people that work for them are friendly .The prices are but the products the put into your hair and the length product are not free .If you go to the regular salon your going to spend $65-75 on your hair just to wash and style and your in their for the 8 hr day.The NY salon in and out like that.

My hair is long with no chemicals other than color. My first visit I was charged $40 because of the length of my hair, my 2nd visit I was charged $50 (my visits were a week apart). After the 2nd wash my scalp was still itching. I washed my hair a week later and it started coming out in strands and clumps. I've NEVER had that issue before. I have a feeling they did not wash the shampoo and or condition all out of my scalp. My daughter went with me to my 2nd visit, she had blisters on her scalp from where the dryer burned her scalp. I know the dryer is hot and its the price we must all endure to get hair straight but to have blisters form within 24 hours is unacceptable. To top it off patrons are charged $1.50 per transaction if you pay with a credit card. What a rip off. Never again! If I could give less than a star rating I would have.
