Triangle Outdoor Spaces - decks, patios, outdoor kitchens

This company is owned by Robert Sykes,he subcontracted a small masonry business to do a job for him and has not paid that business for work that has been completed. Triangle Outdoor spaces owes this contractor over nine thousand dollars. He has a F with the better business bureau and he has been on WRAL twice, once in September 2010 and in 2006. BEWARE!!! This man should not be allowed to do business in the triangle anymore.

In essence, the follow-up service and communication have been awful. They did a landscape project for me which entailed landscaping a hillside with two large willow oaks, two crape myrtles and several junipers. One of the willow oaks was dying when it was planted in Oct '09. I asked the owner about it and he said to wait and see if it comes back. Of course it didn't. So, in March '10 when all my other willow oaks were getting leaves and it was obvious this one was dead, I called.



For over 5 MONTHS now, I've been getting the "we'll get to you in the next week or so" and have even been told two SEPARATE times that my new tree was dug and would be planted in the next day or two. Phone calls are never returned within a week's time. I've threatened to go to the BBB which had no effect. My latest message gave an ultimatum to have me on the schedule for the first week in Sept. I think that should give him plenty of time to plan for completing my job. After that, it's off to small claims court and contacting the state's Attorney General. What else am I supposed to do???



For anyone out there wise enough to research your landscape contractor BEFORE you have work done, do yourself a favor and find another provider with legitimate positive reviews from SEVERAL different customers!!!
