Our car started making strange sounds and had trouble starting sometimes. When we traveled for long distances, it would feel overheated and smell a little like burnt rubber. So, we took it to the Midas store on Glenwood in Raleigh, NC. They said our car had the original spark plugs and that they needed to be replaced (we just had them replaced last year). They also replaced the rotor button and cap, and gave us a bill for $407.12. Our car still had the same exact problems as it did before. On the short drive back home, it stalled at a stoplight. We took it back. They looked at it again and said there were no problems with the car. We kept it for a week. It still had trouble - every day it would stall at least once. We took it to the store a third time. This time they kept it for three days, and when we came to pick it up, they said they didn't see anything wrong with it. They referred us to a dealership nearby.
