Fibromyalgia
Fibromyalgia is a chronic pain disorder characterized by widespread musculoskeletal aches, pain and stiffness, soft tissue tenderness, general fatigue, and sleep disturbances. The most common sites of pain include the neck, back, shoulders, pelvic girdle, and hands. Sometimes it is not easy to diagnose fibromyalgia. There is no one specific diagnostic test to make a diagnosis. However, there are a variety of procedures that can help physicians to determine whether or not a patient has fibromyalgia.
Primary Care
There are not words to describe the excellent care you receive from Dr. Jozewicz. I came to Dr. Jozewicz after my previous neurologist would not recognize my concerns with my medication side-effects. Within just a couple of visits, Dr. Jozewicz not only changed my medications, but truly listened to my concerns about being tired. "Tired or sleepy?" she would ask. Who knew there was a difference? I had been diagnosed as everything from a really good baby, since I slept 20-22 hours a day until I was four, to depressed, to bipolar. I had told my doctors for as long as I can remember that I was tired, exhausted; I slept all the time. She sent me for a DNA test and a sleep study. It turns out that I have Narcolepsy, which was her first guess. NOT A SINGLE DOCTOR IN 32 YEARS HAD SUGGESTED I HAD A SLEEP DISORDER. Dr. Jozewicz knew within a few visits. Dr. Jozewicz listens to all your concerns. She closely watches your medications, interactions with other meds, blood levels, etc. She can tell when you don't look good, and she finds a reason for it and a solution. While in her care, I was in two car wrecks within three weeks. My back and neck were injured so badly I could hardly walk without assistance. My primary care doctor prescribed three different drugs (pain pills, anti-inflammation pills, etc.) Quickly, these started to interact with my Narcolepsy medications, which they had in their notes, and I told them about during my visit. At my next visit with Dr. Jozewicz, she questioned all the extra medications and how I was feeling, are you noticing any changes in your moods or behavior? She said, I don't just do brains; I can help you. She has always found a way to fix any medical issue, especially when due to drug interactions, or conflicts from another medical professional. I have never received better care from a physician than I have from Dr. Jozewicz. You are lucky to be one of Dr. Jozewicz's patients. There is no other neurologist who will take better care of you! ae erat.
Sleep Disorders
A good night’s sleep is critical for renewing mental and physical health of every person. Numerous sleep problems (disorders) are conducive to a lowered quality of life and may endanger personal and public safety. Some sleep disorders may be life-threatening. But, sleep disorders are treatable. A sleep study may be necessary to diagnose sleep problems or obstructive sleep apnea. The study is somewhat like spending a night in a hotel with the difference of having sensors attached to one’s body while being watched in a sleep.

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
Numbness and tingling are abnormal sensations that can occur anywhere in the body, but are often felt in fingers, hands, feet, arms or legs. Common causes include injury to the nerve (most common carpal tunnel syndrome), pressure on the spinal nerves (such as from a herniated disk), multiple sclerosis, migraine, seizures, stroke, and a number of medical conditions such as underactive thyroid or vitamin B12 deficiency.
Multiple Sclerosis
