King's Wok Chinese Restaurant

First it took them an hour to deliver the food and i am 5 minutes away. Second we order chow mein and got something different and no noodles with rice. Third the lady that took the order forced me into getting the big size instead of the small and she said they don't have small but on thier menu it said the had the lunch size and they had small and the large but she refused to take my order otherwise. I was so disappointed with this service when the delivery guy came in i wanted to tell him my complain and he refused to listen and said he doesn't speak English

So, I recently moved to Raleigh and had taste for Chinese Food, so being that this restaurant wasn't far from where I lived and I read some pretty decent reviews, I decided to give it a try.



My first order; fried chicken, an egg roll, and fried rice with peas, eggs and onions in it, was absolutely delicious. It didn't matter that they advertise their fried chicken as chicken wings although not all pieces are wings, however it was scrumptious. My second order was also very tasty; sweet & sour chicken and fried rice. The 3rd time I ordered food from here and went to pick it up, it was on a Sunday evening; for they don't open until 4pm on Sundays so I called to place my order at 4:15pm. This time I ordered the fried chicken dinner again and was disappointed because I can tell that the food was not freshly cooked- the chicken had to be left overs from the day before because it was rubbery and the rice wasn't fresh either- they hadn't even put any peas, onions, and eggs in it- just plain, flavorless rice. I was starving at the time so wasn't a happy camper. Since then I've placed a few more orders; some good and the others not so good, but here's my resolution to King's Wok Chinese Restaurant and maybe it'll work for you.



What I now do when placing an order at this restaurant is specify that I'd like my food prepared "fresh" whether I order over the phone or walk in. I'll wait an extra 15 minutes if I have to, but being a cook myself, I know fresh food when I eat it versus day old food. Overall, I'm still going to give them a 4 stars because if you receive it fresh, it's filling, delicious, and will have you returning for more.

First a positive general tso amazing but everything else absolutely disgusting cold. Soggy crab ragoons and. Egg rolls dry flavorless rice when I called to speak to a manager very defensive basically calling .e a liar aLl there food is good I have never been treated so crudely this.was my first. Time and last time If I was you order with caution

They have great take out and good food. The owner is very pleasant!

The best in take-out. Now all we need is a deli.
