Craniosacral Massage
Diana has over 25 years of bodywork experience and is a Registered CranioSacral Therapist (RCST). She uses CranioSacral Therapy to release tension and ease pain acquired from injury, illness, or the stresses of everyday life. Vacuum cupping and/or intra-oral work techniques are used to work with temporal mandible joint dysfunction (TMJD) and/or sinus pain. She uses an intuitive and gentle approach. This creates a safe space where tension can be dissipated and allows the body to self-heal.
Neuromuscular Therapy
Brooke has practiced neuromuscular therapy since 2001 and nutrition since 2010. She focuses on a holistic, bioindividualist approach to both practices.
Using silicone, glass, and magnetic cups, we do stationary and moving cupping when indicated. Cupping is combined with acupuncture, hot and cold therapy, topical herbal preparations, and manual therapy to help patients with joint pain and arthritis.
Myofascial Therapy
Ginna was born and raised in Raleigh and has been practicing bodywork and pain management for 30 years. She graduated from the Carolina School of Massage Therapy in 1992, and continued her studies in osteopathic techniques, neuromuscular & myofascial therapy, postural analysis, orthopedic acupuncture, and therapeutic cupping. A graduate of the International Institute of Chinese Medicine in New Mexico, Ginna received her Master’s of Science in Oriental Medicine in 2004. She has served as an instructor at the Medical Arts Massage School and Wake Technical Community College.
Acupressure
Massage and bodywork can be beneficial in managing and addressing many health conditions. Remedy’s massage therapists individually tailor each session to help promote balance and healing in your unique system. Hands-on bodywork includes physical manipulation, energy work, and respectful touch for the purpose of achieving therapeutic goals, healing, and personal development work. Sessions often incorporate eastern modalities including cupping, acupressure, range-of-motion, or passive and active stretching, liniments made from Chinese herbs, and far-infared heat lamps.
