AWOL APPLIANCE REPAIR

Came back in town and found that my refrigerator & freezer had stopped blowing cold air called AWOL Appliance Repair, had someone out befor 5:00pm very good however was told what the problem was and that the part would be in by Wednesday because I was headed back our of town Thursday. Received a call back Tuesday & tried calling back two times on Tuesdays & four times on Wednesday w/no return call, refrigerator was taken apart and not put back together. Now that I think about it the $60.00 up front service fee w/basically a free cash give away, because having to pay the hold amount without the repair being completely you are on their time, unfortunately my time has ran out. Red flag if you keep getting a answering machine all the time Stay Away!

About a month ago I had AWOL out to repair a very old washing machine leak. 1st diagnosis was improper fitting of drain hose. That did not work. They came back the same day I called and discovered that a worn seal was causing the leak and could no longer be purchased. AWOL put the service cost towards one of their washers (I lost no money). I have now had the washer long enough to say it works fantastic. I highly recommend AWOL for their service and their honesty.

Do yourself a favor and find another appliance repair company. These people have no clue what they are doing. Five minutes of listening to me describe what is going on and they come up with a diagnosis. Sounds great, right? They get the parts, pick up the washer and take it to their shop. Upon returning my washing machine, they tell me that they ran a load of laundry through it and it ran good. Then why did my first load of laundry have water pouring out on the floor? AWOL comes back out and the guy now tells me the barrel is cracked...um, was it always cracked, did you guys crack it. He says it was always cracked. Why didn't you fix that? We fixed what you told us was wrong. Seriously? I am not an appliance repair person, I described it the best I could. I asked why I was told a load of laundry did okay in it? Oh, well the guys ran it in the garage....sure, they did.
