Lifeline Center For Child Development, established in 1959 as a nonprofit organization, operates as a psychiatric day treatment center and a special education school. It offers education and medical assistance to children with learning disabilities, hyperactivity and mental disorders. The services offered by the center include psychological testing and psychotherapy, diagnostic evaluation, physical and occupational therapies, and social developmental programs. It offers speech and language therapies to children with hearing impairments, and also provides art and music therapies.
