General Info
Power Tags, Titles and More, owned and operated by Patricia Power and her daughter Candi Segovia, run the third-party provider, which offers services such as renewing titles and tags, transferring and replacing licenses and even performing basic inspections. "You have to be certified to do this," Power said. "We have two processors right now and they work really hard, and they always have a smile on their face." Power is partnered with the state of Arizona and each of the four current employees were required to go through the proper schooling to take up their position. Certified to do whatever a customer might need, Power offers a huge small-town feeling to a large community. "Our customers are not a number," Segovia said. "But they are number one to us," Power said. It took Power and her daughter about two years before they were able to open the establishment and they have had no shortage of business since. "It gets better and better each week," Power said. Putting customers at the forefront of their concern, Power and Segovia haven't seen a customer leave unhappy yet. "We believe in customer service, and if it wasn't for the people here coming to us, we wouldn't have our business," Power said. "So we really work to give the best customer service possible." Prices at Power's do include a small convenience fee for services offered, but outside of Power's establishment, the closest MVD services are located in Coolidge, which is no quick trip at 17 miles away. "We have a lot of people come in and thanking us for opening," Power said. Most customers say the convenience fee is "well worth it," as they no longer have to make the 34-mile round trip, nor do they have to spend time waiting in a stuffy wait room. "Customers don't have to spend their whole day at the MVD anymore," Segovia said. "It's 15 minutes in or out here." On top of the simple convenience of Power's location, customers also walk into a business that is built around their well-being. Waiting around after hours, staying late on Saturdays, which they are open unlike the MVD, and offering snacks and a reprieve from the heat, are only a few of the little things customers will notice. This, all put together creates more of an experience than a task, which is invaluable in today's fast-paced world.

Waiting over three hours for my girlfriends son to be seen to obtain a driving permit. Waiting line backed up around the building. Need more staff to meet the needs of the customers. Update: Finally able to get in after waiting for over 5 hours. I would avoid this place. Spoke with the manager Gary Powers who didn’t seem to mind that customers had to wait outside in the heat for over 5 hours to be served. His justification was that he only had 2 staff members to process drivers licenses. Once upon a time we all thought wait times and customer service at the DMV was bad. This establishment takes the prize for extremely poor performance and an uncaring attitude toward its customers. They have multiple poor reviews. It’s apparent they have no intention on improving their customer service. I will never spend another dime in a Power’s Tags establishment. If you want to save yourself some frustration and about 5 hours of your day I would recommend just scheduling an appointment with the DMV and going there instead.

Very slow, I asked for new Federal Lic - they charge me $37.00 for over 50 drivers license with motorcycle endorsement. But I did not receive Ferderal lic. I went back to see what was needed to correct. That was ther normal fee $20 for drivers lic and $17 for endorsements. DMV Fes for both $17.00 with Federal it $32.00. They said it the $27.00 was a convenience fee so be aware!

This place was absolutley terrible. I went this morning to take my drivers test and I was previously told on the phone when I called that I would not need an appointment. So I drove 30 miles and upon arrival they told me I had to have an appointment. I was then told to speak to the women in charge and she was completely disrespectful and rude. She told me that no one there would have said that I didn't need an appointment and called me and my mother a liar. She then went in to another customer as we were still speaking to her. They were completely unprofessional and clearly do not know how to run a business 10 out of 10 do not recommend.

The woman i dealt with here had no knowledge whatsoever. I first needed to change my drivers license and was informed that i needed a social security card, having changed my license before i knew this was incorrect and she would not admit her mistake. Secondly, i needed to transfer ownership of a title, was told that i needed both signatures of the sellers on a bill of sale and notarized. I did this and also had the back of the title notarized as well. They would not take one of the bill of sales because we had to white out half of the dob because of a mistake, was told that i needed to go and get another bill of sale signed and notarized even though the back of the title was signed by both sellers and notarized. Ended up going to the actual dmv and was told exactly what i already knew, no need for the bill of sale, just have to have the title signed and notarized. Long story short, they were not knowledgeable whatsoever in the business they deal in and the staff was extremely short and rude

Would not take valid legal documentation for receiving Arizona ID. According to Arizona State an out of state Enhanced Drivers license is a valid form of Primary Identification and can be used in place of a birth certificate for getting your Arizona ID. This can be seen directly on Azdot gov's website, and is referenced multiple times on their help page and their application page. After speaking with multiple people and informing them that it was on the Arizona MVD official website they refused to acknowledge it. They stated that there is no way they could be wrong and that they would not help me if I asked them to look into the information I provided. Then proceeded to hang up on me. Hopefully they will actually follow Arizona MVD policies and laws since they are supposedly contracted with them.

I even printed out the page directly from Arizona's MVD website showing the information and they still would not acknowledge it.

Pros: Convenient location, sup...

Pros: Convenient location, super-fast service, great hours.

Cons: Broken equipment.

I went to the Power Tags, Titles & More office on 15 February 2012 and everything went very smoothly until it was time to pay. Turns out, their credit card machine is broken and the cord has been taped at the bottom. During my transaction, the machine's screen went blank. The lady helping me kept asking me to swipe my card again even though my bank showed that the transaction had gone through. After 45 minutes between them and the bank, the issue was finally resolved, mostly. Essentially, I ended up having to pay for my registration twice and now have to wait a few days for a reversal (that was initiated by Power Tags' equipment) to go through. I probably could have saved myself the time and frustration if I had just gone to the actual DMV.
