Dental Examination
X-rays
A Panoramic X-ray is not designed to find cavities, but rather it reveals impacted teeth, bone abnormalities, fractures, infections, cysts and/or tumors. A Panoramic X-ray provides information that other dental x-rays cannot show. Based upon this information, we can assist you in securing the proper dental care.
Oral Cancer Screening
We have a genuine concern for your overall health and well-being. It’s because of this that we invest in state-of-the-art oral cancer screening technology to ensure your health for life.

Teeth Cleaning
Your dental cleaning at our practice will take about an hour which includes time with our hygienist and doctor. Cleanings involve the removal of plaque and tarter above or at the gumline. Polishing completes the cleaning, making the surface of the teeth smooth and minimizing future plaque build-up. Cleanings should be performed every six months to prevent excessive plaque buildup. Plaque left untreated can lead to unhealthy gums and tooth decay.
Dental Sealants
A sealant is a thin, plastic-like material applied to the chewing surfaces of a child's permanent first and second molars. The sealant fills the grooves and depressions of the tooth preventing cavity-causing buildup. Sealants can help prevent cavities from forming in the deep grooves of a tooth.

Fillings
Resin Composite
Composite resin fillings are custom-made to the exact color of the patient’s teeth, creating a more natural appearance. As an office we pride ourselves on the extensive use of composite as a long-lasting, adaptable restorative material. We are known in the community for providing conservative treatments and utilizing the amazing bonding and strength capabilities of composite fillings to prevent people from needing crowns in many situations.
Veneers
Veneers are a cosmetic dental procedure in which a thin layer of porcelain or composite material is cemented or placed over the outside of your tooth.
Crowns
A bridge is one or more crowns joined together and then cemented into place using the real teeth on either side for support.
Bridges
Options to replace missing teeth include partial or full dentures, fixed bridges or dental implants. All of these options are available in our office. While all three of these options restore aesthetics and some function, only dental implants can preserve bone and also restore full function like a natural tooth. The jaw bone exists to support teeth and when one or more teeth are lost, the bone begins to shrink. This progressive process can lead to sinking of the face, an older appearance to the face, loss of chewing strength and bone loss on surrounding teeth.

Root Canal Treatment
Root canal treatment, also referred to as root canal therapy or endodontic therapy, is used to save an infected or damaged tooth and avoid having to remove it.

Deep Cleaning
Periodontal treatment typically involves containing the bacteria through deep cleaning. This deep cleaning consists of scaling and root planning which clears the bacterial buildup along the root of the teeth. We also suggest specific toothpastes and mouth rinses. In severe cases, we may refer you to the care of a periodontist, a dentist who specializes in gum care.

Dentures
Partial dentures fill in missing teeth when some natural teeth remain and complete dentures replace all teeth. Partial and complete dentures are made to resemble your natural teeth, so there should be no noticeable change to your appearance.
Overdentures
An overdenture is used when a patient no longer has teeth remaining in their mouth but enough bone in their jaw to support implants. Overdentures snap into place on top of implants but can be removed for cleaning.

Dental Implants
Bridges are an option for filling the space created by a missing tooth. Bridges save time and money initially to replace a missing tooth when compared to a dental implant. However, unlike the dental implant, a bridge does not protect the bone where the tooth is lost. A bridge replaces the missing tooth both functionally and cosmetically.

Kadi Jo was born and raised in Whitesboro, Texas. She is one of our many talented patient coordinators and clinical assistants. Her cheerful voice may be one of the first you hear when calling our office to schedule an appointment or pass information to the clinical staff. As a registered Dental Assistant, she is certified in nitrous oxide monitoring, x-rays, CPR, and coronal polishing. Kadi is organized and likes to keep moving! When she is not at the front desk, she may be found whirling around in the clinic assisting and organizing to her heart’s desire. Kadi Jo has been in dentistry since 2013 with a background in orthodontics and pediatric dentistry, she has a real heart for working with children. At home, Kadi Jo loves to be outdoors spending time with her energetic children, Pazley, Tatum, Briar, and her Fiancé, Cody. Kadi loves to hunt, fish, hike, and adventure in ATV's.

Cosmetic Dentistry
Composite veneers, sometimes referred to as bonding, is a beautiful and strong option to porcelain veneers for some patients. The biggest difference between composite veneers and porcelain veneers is that composite veneers are artistically hand-laid directly on to the tooth by the dentist. This skill does not come easily and requires hours and hours of training and practice after dental school to master. Dr. Jill and Dr. Cara feel strongly about the benefits of composite veneers and dedicated themselves to learning this craft. Dr. Jill trained with Dr. Jimmy Eubanks, one of the founders of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and with Dr. Newton Fahl who runs an international institute on the artistry of composite. A few of the benefits to composite veneers are less tooth structure removal, less visits to the office and less anesthetic. Also, our doctors use the most recent cosmetic composite and polishing instruments to achieve a natural, personalized aesthetic finish. Dr. Sentlingar’s professional afflitations include the American Dental Association, The Academy of General Dentistry and the AES. Dr. Sentlingar was invited to be a member of the Piper-McKee Study Club in 2013 which focuses on advanced diagnosis and treatment of TMJ disorders and facial pain. She studied with Dr. Piper and Dr. McKee for over 7 years and brings this knowledge into her every day practice. Dr. Sentlingar’s professional recognitions include: Gold Medal for First Scholastic Honors at Baylor College of Dentistry, Alpha Omega Scholastic Award, the Eleanor Bushee Senior Woman Dental Student Award, The Academy of Oral Medicine Award, The Texas Academy of General Dentistry Award, The Organization of Teachers of Oral Diagnosis Award, and selection into the Odontological Honors Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon and Phi Beta Kappa. She is also certified by the World Clinical Laser Institute in the use of the Waterlase MD and the EZLase diode lasers.
