Harmony Schools

Our son has been at the Harmony Schools since he was 10 weeks old (now 14 months). We have been very happy with the school---from the day he arrived, he got lots of care and attention, and we have felt comfortable leaving him there even as a young infant. As first-time parents, we have learned a lot about parenting from the Harmony staff! He recently moved up to the Toddler room and is having lots of fun playing outside and learning to feed himself. We looked at many different infant care options in the area, and Harmony was by far our favorite. Some highlights: friendly, laid-back staff; excellent teacher-to-infant ratio (1:3); extended opening hours (7am-7pm); a safe environment but not one that is overly-procedural or regimented; a good balance of free play and structured activities; a family-run business; a building with plenty of natural light. We feel that we chose well---our son is clearly very happy at Harmony, and we find it easy to communicate with the staff. We are moving away in a few months, and taking our son out of Harmony is the biggest regret I will have about our move!
