Five Guys

I gave one star because it was required. If i could I would have given this place a - 8.



The whole customer service experience at this restaurant was absolutely absurd. I ordered online hoping to minimize my wait and be in and out under 10 minutes or so. Unfortunately it was more waiting time than I had anticipated - which was over 30 minutes for a single order of a cheeseburger and a small order of french fries. The wait would have been understandable if I wasn't the only customer in the store.

I was never acknowledged between the four people that were there at that time, and completely ignored as I stood underneath the "pick-up" sign. Those in particular were the grill cooks, and the individual at the register who were all apparently to enthralled in laughter, jokes, and standing around hurling their "n*gga this, n*gga that" slang to acknowledge me. At this point I debated on getting a refund for my money and leaving which surely would have been a fiasco in itself so I waited a few minutes as they stared back and fourth from me to each other in between cackles.



I finally approached the woman cooking fries who out of the these four people was courteous enough to help me. After waiting there aimlessly for over 20 minutes to finally claim my web order all the while enduring the grill cook deliberately and very loudly voicing insults based on my physical standing. A few moments later a woman came in and placed a large order, to which the cook actually said to her "you have to let n*ggas know in advance" I found their foul language offensive, appalling and the amount of disrespect was just unbelievable - let alone highly inappropriate. It seemed as if they did not want to be there, completely unwilling to simply assist anyone which made me as a customer feel very unwanted. Be that as it may, I would like to commend the young woman who was working that shift, she seemed to be the only individual capable enough to complete her tasks due to the lack of functioning individuals that she must consider her co-workers to say the least. She is the only reason I received my order and some shred of consideration in midst of this horrid experience. The amount of friendly professional customer service there was complete tomfoolery.



While this restaurant chain does serve great food I most certainly will not endure such treatment in exchange for any meal much less an eight dollar one. Needless to say I will never go to this establishment again due to the nonsensical acts exhibited by those employees and I advise the managers at the Prince Frederick store to re-evaluate and hire a completely new and improved staff.
