We had arrived at those last two weeks before closing on our home in Powhatan (Lake Shawnee), and the realtor suggested that the quote we had for our septic inspection and possible repairs was far higher than she was seeing on other contracts. We contacted another company that did not service our area, and they recommended Premier Septic Services.
The owner contacted us immediately and was able to service our tank and inspect by the end of the week.
Sometimes it seems helpful to go with that bigger company because we feel like we'll get a bigger discount, or perhaps better service because of the size of the company. Premier is a locally owned business, and the owners/operators offer both a competitive price and excellent service. They also bring decades of experience and are connected to so many others in the community. We are SO glad to have found Premier Septic Services and recommend you contact them!

Mark Swineford, the owner of Premier has the best septic service company EVER in all of Virginia. He's super friendly, very knowledgeable and got me an appointment right away. The next day, Mark sent over two very friendly and highly professional individuals. Kurt and Camaron were the best team ever that tackled the job. They were right on time at exactly 1030am just like they told me the day before and got the septic system all cleaned out in a very timely manner. Kurt also gave me some very helpful information in regards to maintaining the tank to keep it in good working condition for years to come. If you need septic system work done for a great price and with awesome people in charge then go with Premier Septic Services. I most certainly will be using these guys again!

Amazing Service! I was nervous about maintaining my first septic system. These guys are top notch! I based my decision to use them on their glowing reviews. They were prompt, professional, kind and very informative.

The whole experience with Premier was wonderful. Scheduling was fantastic. I got a reminder call the day before and a call when en route. Kurt was our service professional. He was courteous and really knew his stuff. Gave us great advice on how to mitigate the roots invading our tank after working hard to clear them. He left the job totally buttoned up. They’ve got a great team with pride of ownership throughout. All at a fair price. I don’t write reviews often but these guys deserve a vote of confidence!

I contacted Mark late on a Friday evening (slightly frantic) and left a message. Despite being out of town, he responded right away and had his son in law (Kurt) call me so that I could explain the situation. Kurt was most professional on the phone and arrived the next morning (the Saturday before Labor Day) right when he said he would. Others may have seen a septic truck pulling in, but to me it looked more like a knight in shining armor aboard a chariot. He was friendly, professional and informative, leaving me most impressed. Within hours of Kurt leaving, I'd recommended Premier to a family member and will absolutely be contacting them for future needs, hopefully in a less panicked state. 4 thumbs up!!

I was very impressed the first time I called Mark. I'd caught him on vacation with his family in Florida (sorry about that), but he still answered my call and treated me like I was his most important customer. He answered ALL of my questions, and we later scheduled an appointment. I was not going to be home on the day they serviced my system, but that was not a problem for Premier. I left the septic plat (from my local health department), and a check on the front porch and told Mark my best guess as to the location of my septic tank. I'd never had my tank pumped since buying my house, so I'd never had to locate it before now. When I got home that afternoon the only evidence they'd been there was a small mound of dirt, filling in the hole they dug, and the check was gone. I don't see ANY evidence of them "guessing and digging" holes all over my yard. These guys found the tank spot on. I couldn't be happier!! Mark is a very nice guy and set my mind at ease throughout the entire process. By the end of our first phone call I already felt like we'd known each other for years. I will definitely use them again, and will recommend them to everyone I know!

I had a fantastic experience last week. I called Mark who fit me in his schedule the day after Thanksgiving. Curtis came out and pumped my tank for the first time and explained how the entire system worked and answered any questions I had. Curtis could not have been nicer and even showed my young boys the pumping truck which they were fascinated by (including the train horn). I couldn't be more happier with Premier Septic Services and will recommend them and use them in the future.

What a great company. Curtis arrived at exactly the time advised and coached me through the process of why it is important to maintain your septic system in a timely manner. Premier Septic Services, Powhatan responded to my request with a tentative service date promise with my first call. They coached me on some steps to prepare for their visit, showed up on time and took care of my problem. These are my "go to" folks from now on and I highly recommend them to my friends and family.
