I am so thankful that my children are attending Praise Academy. The teachers, administration, and the rest of the staff are wonderful. They all show the love of God to the children and parents in too many ways to count. They all truly care for, love and support their students! Praise is awesome!

Remarkable!

This is our 1st year at Praise Academy and I could not be happier! Being a Christian family, it was very important we place our daughter in a very safe, friendly, God oriented place. A friend recommended our family to Praise Academy as I was looking for a Christian school to place our daughter. The principle and staff welcomed us with open arms and the comfort level we felt when we entered the school, I knew this was the place for us.

Our daughter is in the K-4 program and is very happy. She continues to advance everyday. She looks forward to being challenged and memorizing her Bible versus weekly.

Having a school that puts God first-along with a great staff, we look forward to being at Praise Academy for a very long time!

Parent Review

We have returned to Praise after moving and I have witnessed a lot of positive changes in both of my children. My 8th grade son is more outgoing and willing to talk (AND PRAY) out loud. He is playing sports and feels like the teachers and school staff love and support him. His biggest complaint is the restrictions on the allowed length of the boy’s hair. I would like to see more of a variety of classes and learning, for example music, chorus, ART, home economics, and life skills. My daughter is in 2nd grade and she has become more compassionate and “a little” more humble. Learning this was a challenge for her since she has such a strong personality. I would love to see challenge reading and spelling classes for her. Spelling competitions for all grades would be great. Her biggest complaint is that she is bored because she already knows what the 2nd grade is learning. They both love art and it is not offered at this time. Being a single mom it is hard to pay the tuition and then have to pay for extra classes away from school. I have weighed both the “wish list” and the positive changes I see in my kids along with the calm feeing I get from Praise and there is no comparison. It was honestly like coming home. Mr. And Mrs. White loves each and every one of the kids that attend Praise and celebrate their accomplishments and support with love when they need it. NOWHERE in public school will you get that individual attention.

Moral Value vs. Educational value

We attend Praise and have for several years. After coming from public school I had anticipated the smaller classes would facilitate a higher level of learning. I have found that the level of educational value is average. The moral definitely out weighs the sometimes lacking educational component. There are no advanced (AP) placement classes so you do not have that choice. The Bible classes are the most challenging ones. OK I guess. I appreciate the value of the children there and that they come from homes that instill moral Christian values and manners. The children are wonderful and a blessing to each other. There is a lack of variety of classes offered and the hope would be that with tuition rising that there will be a better selection of classes. I have not had a child graduate yet but the application process will begin soon to college so my hope is that colleges will look favorably on the transcript. There have been graduates to attend UGA and other non faith based colleges. I would recommend Praise for your child but would find the Principal more welcoming and attentive than other administrators and personnel. You can't have it all in one spot but you must weigh what is most important. No one ever asked to see a report card when you apply for a job later! If you are looking for a top notch group of great kids that you can feel good about having your child be friends with, this is where they are!

Blessing!

This is our first year with Praise...we have a son that is in the 6th grade and was scheduled to go to public middle school. After visiting the public school I was determined to find a good christian school. I had heard good things about Praise through some friends and went to tour the school. I met with the principal and she made me feel very comfortable. My son was very unsure about going to a private school but after only 1 week of school, I heard the most wonderful words that I had never heard before..."I'm really glad I'm going to that school!" He has not complained about going to school at all this year. He loves his teacher!!!!! She is a angel! She has been very patient with him and with me! My son has become more confident and "out-going" this year. Being able to send him to this school has truly been a blessing. Everyone we have met through this school is very special. I would highly recommend this school to anyone.

I have two High School students at Praise Academy and they love it. The curriculum is challenging and fun. The teacher are nice and helpful. I love how they put God first in the day to day lives of my boys. It helps reinforce Sundays and where God should be placed. If you are looking for and great school and care about what they learn, you should look at Praise Academy.

Praise Parent

I have really enjoyed the school so far. I have had a few kinks along the way but overall the experience has been quite positive. I am anxious to see the curriculum standards for the higher grades becuase my child is only in the k-3 class, but things seemed to be going along just fine. My child has learned to respect others, and learn about the word of God. He is given the opportunity to attend church with our family and at school in addition to being introduced to the computer, early reading skills and he has a good time too. I would definitely reccommend their pre-school program to parents who are conflicted over keeping their child in daycare or sending them to a christian pre-school.

Couldn't ask for a better school

We have 3 children at Praise who all started years ago in the K-3 program. Praise is much more than a school, it becomes a family. The teachers go far beyond teaching a Christian education, to instilling great moral values that contribute to the core foundation of a child's personality and compassion for others. I am thankful that my children "love" going to school and that Praise Academy is their school!

I have had two daughters gradu...

I have had two daughters graduate from this school already. I have one more that will be graduating this year. I think this school is the best, both in teaching self worth and helping your child grow spiritually. They really care about your child. I think it says a lot about a school, when the principal walks in a classroom or anywhere on the campus and the children fall all over themselves to run up and hug them! The children have both love and respect for the principal. This school has a family atmosphere and I have never worried about my child's safety at school. They have really stepped up in their academics over the last few years. My daughter is really challenged. I think she is being prepped for college. As far as the sports program, the attitude that our players have on the field and the court is Christ-like. I feel that is very important - after all, we are a christian school and we do represent Jesus Christ! This school is EXCEPTIONAL!!!

Praise Parent

My son attends Praise academy and is in high school. The school makes every effort adhere to their core values which are -Christ First - Self-worth - Academics. The staff at Praise not only cares about the child succeeding academically, but also spiritually. The principal and administrator, along with all the staff, are very welcoming and friendly. They are accessible and easy to communicate with. My son has many opportunities to expand his learning by participating in the National Society of High School Scholars, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, sports, journalism, yearbook staff and office aide along with his normal academic studies. We are very thankful for Praise Academy!

We have only been acquainted with Praise Academy for a short while, but have been very impressed with what we have seen so far. We have a son attending Praise right now and he loves it as well. The teachers are very friendly and loving and have taken our whole family in like they have known us all our lives. We could not be happier!!

BLESSED!

God sent us to Praise Academy two years ago, and we have no regrets, other than not finding it sooner! Our 11th grade daughter and 6th grade son LOVE the school, and so do we. No, Praise is not perfect, and the administration and staff will be the first ones to tell you that, but they genuinely and consistently seek God's best for the students and the school. Their philosophy is Christ first, self-worth, then academics. They love the Lord. The love, encourage and educate the students and families. They enforce discipline. They have fun. You can't get much better than that! We are privileged to be a part of Praise Academy and look forward to seeing God's continued blessings on the ministry.

A PROTOTYPE OF HEAVEN ON EARTH!!

Where do I begin. We heard about this school from some friends of ours. Our child now attends this school. To us, Praise is a PROTOTYPE of HEAVEN on Earth. Our child is so LOVED. You truly feel the LOVE AND PRESENCE OF GOD AT PRAISE ACADEMY. These people are not just pretending to be Christians. They are 1 Corinthians 13:4-6 Christians. (Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.)

Praise Academy is a God send!

Both my daughters attend Praise Academy (1st and 9th Grade - both have been going there since Kindergarten). We were fortunate to start a football team last year and it was really fun. My youngest is a handful and they do a great job keeping her focused and keeping me in the know.
