I visited Radio Shack in Portland, TX three days in a row, 22-24 May 2015. The first day, the manager, Mr. Rob Ellsworth, was very helpful, respectful, and provided excellent customer service. Radio Shack does not carry what I needed but Mr. Ellsworth gave me a referral that was helpful, which I used. Later that day, Mr. Ellsworth assisted me by charging my dead cell phone battery overnight. The next day, a sales associate, Ms. Maile, assisted me with my new cell phone. She was gracious and patient with me. She went above board in assisting me. The third day, another sales associate, Mr. Joseph, assisted me with software and hardware. He is very knowledgeable and professional. And, Radio Shack's sale prices this past weekend were fantastic. Mr. Ellsworth and his crew were the consummate professionals. I would highly recommend that others visit this location. Very well done. :)

this place sucks lol the manager here is awful and judges people by race and how they look if you need too go to radio shack go too the ones in town like airline and mcardle or sinton tx

I just returned from the Portland Texas radio shack. I went to pickup my phone case that was ordered from another store on wednesday I was told I could pick it up on Thursday I went in on Friday and it wasn't there. The assistant manager rudely told me how he could go get it tomorrow and he was doing me a favor when I told him it really isn't a favor when I have now made three trips to handle this he told me fine you can just go get it yourself. I asked for the manager who I was told we standing next to him. I told the manager that I too was a store manager and this is poor customer service. The assistant asked what store I worked at and the said well I will never recommend anyone to your store. I am floored the manager watched as the Assistant told me off. I cannot recommend this experience to anyone. I am so shocked at the treatment of customers

And yes I will be making a complaint to the corporate. Office
