very expensive, did not listen to me and did not ask me before performing services that I did not require. VERY expensive

I asked them to change my coolant hoses (one of the two was leaking). They called me during the day and told me mywater pump was leaking as well. Not wanting to come back later for this problem, I asked them to replace the pump.Turns out the "bad" water pump was in perfect condition, according to a Chevy mechanic with 25 years experience. I found out a couple months later the former owner of my car had replaced the pump less than a year ago. To add insult to injury, they failed to properly tighten the hose clamps. I was 2 or 3 quarts low on coolant before I realized I was still losing coolant. Could've fried my engine!! I went back the next day. The owner gave me some line about these 'superior' hose clamps they buy direct from Europe, blah, blah, and they're still getting used to them. He never apologized and insists the water pump was bad. They performed unnecessary work and the work they did was poor quality.
