My Husband and I love Jeffrey Goldberg. When my husband got jammed up with the job, simply becaue he had been injured while restrainiing a prisoner and needed to go on light duty while he was receiving medical treatment, Jeff stepped in and turned what was becoming truly scary situation - we had only my husband's income and are not wealthy and they were putting my husband on midnights to force him to quit - into what it should have been from the beginning, a manageable situation. He reviewed all my husbands medical records, wrote letters interpreting them, answered all of my hysterical calls as if I was his client, spent time on the phone with me that he got NOTHING extra for (we were charged a flat fee) just to calm me down when I was upset, and made us both feel like family. He fought for us LONG after what we paid him HAD to have been used up, never asked us for another penny, and never gave up on us. After two years of working with us, more than ten office visits, countless phone calls with us (mostly me), hundreds of pages of medical records, and dozens of letters, we got the Jeff call I will NEVER forget, congratulating us and overjoyed that he had finally gotten my husband's disability pension granted. I recommend him to everyone and still keep his card in my wallet even after 5 years, just in case my phone contacts get lost and I meet someone who needs him. For anyone who gets into a bad spot with the NYPD there is no one I would recommend more. Thank you Jeff!
