Granddaughter's s vehicle was towed from an apartment building on Burbank on a Saturday night and she didn't find out that it was on until after 1:00 pm on Sunday afternoon. I called them and they wanted a letter from me when I am over a hundred miles away before they would release the car to her and the cost would be over $300. They said I could take a picture of the letter and send it to her but I don't have a phone that I can do this with? I told them I could email them the letter but they said they do not have a computer. What business in this day and age does not have a computer but has a stupid phone?

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. my daughter's car was towed off Burbank Commons property after 2 hrs, at midnight. I called over 3 times to find out if her car was actually there or if it had been stolen. Still, they could not tell me if the car was there or not, even after I gave them all the information. Further, each time they gave me a different price estimate to release the car from impound. I am very unhappy with this service, as there seems to be no set policy or prices, and the answering service was supremely unhelpful.

My daughter's car was towed and when she called and then I called they could not tell her or myself if they had the car. I guess they don't know how to used computers.

They overcharge (I guess because they could tell my daughter is a LSU student) young people and take advantage of these kids.

Then this 'establishment' offers 3 hours on a Sat and from what the 'village idiot' that answered the phone (claiming to be the answering service) maybe 3 hours that Sat night to release the vehicle (if in fact it's there).

How do they stay in business?!?! The blind leading the blind....lmbo!!!

My daughter will never be dining at the restaurant she went to again after this horrific experience...this left a very bad taste in her mouth. What a shame that a bunch of stupid people had to ruin the night for her and her friends......Less than a month till graduation and BYE BYE Baton Rouge........

Seem to have loose cannons that tow without regard to the policy of the contracting company, especially when it comes to LSU students. Company probably thinks they are a vulnerable group that will not challenge them.

Daughter (LSU Student) towed from Wendys outside LSU gate in the 10 or so minutes it took to walk to a mobile snow-cone truck acroos the street (out of view of parking lot) after they had gotten their food from Wendys. Manager on duty stated a customer's car should not be towed that quickly after getting food, and disputed Riverside's claim that driver went inside to ask about it. She had been there all day and would have known if that had happened according to her statement. Driver was probably staking out the place and saw them cross the street after getting food since another Riverside employee was standing in the space where her car had been when they returned. Employee laughed and told them they just missed it being towed, which tells me one was watching while they were getting the snow cones and probably telling the tow truck driver to hurry since the line at the snow-cone truck only took about 10 minutes. Riverside Towing has an F with the Better Business Bureau, which they say is given to them as punishment by the BBB for not being members (employee's statement). The fact that they have never once responded to any of their many BBB complaints may have something to do with it! Any company that cares about its customers should not contract with them. Certainly no government contract should be given, especially at LSU. They seem to apply their own rules with a focus on whatever it takes to get a tow. I would think corporate for any franchise would not condone them contracting with company with an F rating from the BBB and negative feedback about the all over the web (Tiger Droppings and many other sites).
