Burnett Transmission

These guys rock! I came in after 3 on a Friday afternoon. I thought I had a transmission issue (slipping/stuttering between 40- 60 mph), after getting zero help from another local repair shop. Steve diagnosed the general issue from just my explanation... likely a wire or coil. Diagnostics confirmed the number 5 coil was bad. Replacement coil was picked up from a local auto parts store. Ten minutes to replace and I was on my way.

These guys were prompt. Courteous. Respectful. They performed the non- transmission repair quickly and professionally. And I was NOT taken advantage of, being a woman.

First off Im forced to give one star when it should be NO star at all.I spent 1900 on a complete rebuild with one year warranty.. the day I picked it up it was slipping I took it right back and he told me it was a sencer and he dosnt do outside work on transmission only insidefast foward all sencers were just fine however replaced all of them and still slipping. After going back over and over not one did he even look at it he just smelled the fluid and kept telling me this everyfime I went back finally took it to a local ford dealer and they started it put it in gear went to drive and shut it off and told me that that transmission was shot I take it back over to burnetts and he keeps it for a sold 7 day week and when I don't hear from him I go and ask him what's up and he tells me my truck is running ruff and he can't do anything until the motor is fixed I called bull stuff and told him nice try I just put a brand new crate motor in it that engine is better then new and the fact he never called me about this and I had to go back because of his neglect and he telks me my warranty was up and any work he does I have to pay for. My transmission is completely burnt the entire inside of my so called new transmission looks like a bomb went off inside. Total millage since rebuild 5389.2 miles. He refuses to fix his mistake and as a buisnes man has absolutly no honor in any way he's a theif
