Best time ever

Wave blast in my favorite company!

The jetskiis run great, the staff is super helpful and I really enjoy going with my kids, we normally go at least once every 2 months and have always had a great experience. I have parasailed three times and it was a magical experience to say the least. LOVE LOVE LOVE this company!!!

Best water sports company around.

Flori-duh Vacationer beware:

This is just a news alert by now most news stations plus Daily Mail & so many more especially in Connecticut have reported a 28 year old woman parasailing with her husband in tandem has died when her harness broke by Wave Blast Water Sports.

Hopefully Wave Blast Water Sports will do the right thing: CLOSE

Just by the responses by this company before the parasailing accident this tragic accident could've been prevented if the company invested in buying new harnesses

from time to time. From the looks of the one that broke it was on it's last leg.

Shame on you Wave Blast Water Sports you caused the death of a young woman.

How do you sleep at night? We're a high volume type of water sports company

implies that you in it for the sheer numbers only not the safety of your guests.

Too bad this water sports isn't regulated. I highly doubt we will get a response

from the owner of Wave Blast Water Sports as the cat has it's tongue. RIP

I had a bad experience with this company. I drove there from Hollywood and selected them because their ad said family friendly professional staff. After paying, I just stood around waiting with the people in front of me. I wasn't given any instructions or anything other than put on a life jacket. Finally someone yelled banana boat ride. Well the free banana boat ride for the snorkeling trip was just to the boat and back, only no one told me that. My kids and I went snorkeling. The guide had an earache and apparently couldn't swim that day. So my kids and I went out alone on the water. I'm not sure that we actually saw a coral reef at all since we're from Texas and have no idea what were looking for. We had fun looking at fish though while the boat captain just sat on the boat listening to music on his iphone. When we got back and tied off the boat we had to sit there and wait for someone to come and get us in the banana boat, which was deflating at the time. The guide called the beach and told them we had someone on board who was sea sick....still not much movement on the shore. Finally someone came to get us for the second half of our free banana boat ride back to shore. My kids were very disappointed so we purchased a "real" banana boat ride for $40.00 more dollars after spending $250.00 for 5 people to go snorkeling. No I didn't get any better service. We played in the water for what seemed like forever and no banana boat ride. When my kids asked the guy on shore he said he had to air up the boat. He aired up the boat and took another group out telling my boys they would be next. After standing around for a while he said he had to air it up again. When I walked up from the beach to the shack the guy who was supposed to be airing up the boat was sitting around chatting. I asked for a refund and then they offered me the ride and of course I said no, I want a refund. I was there from 11am until after 3pm to go snorkeling and get a banana boat ride. I was very disappointed with the service and level of attention and professionalism. I was glad to just be leaving. I don't recommend this group to anyone. Go to their competition next door. I saw a lot of people over there getting banana boat rides all day.

To my guest from Texas. Please understand that we are running a Jet-Ski,Parasail,Reef Snorkel,Banana Ride, operation all at one location, running high volumes of people. In order to provide you a variety of choices, all equipment must be functioning at top efficiency. The banana developed a leak that day,so we were working around it till the evening to repair it.I had a talk with my stand in Snorkel operator about being more attentive to the full enjoyment of each and every guest. And yes,the guys next door seem to do alot of banana rides.Happy for them !

Scam Artists!

I wish I had read these reviews earlier today. The same thing happened to us today. They told our group that it would cost us $50 for 1/2 hour including taxes and shuttle. We paid them and they took us to the place where we were to use the jet skis. Then they told us it would cost an additional $30 (total $80) for gas. WHAT?!?!? When we complained, they were horrible to us. Our money would not get returned, so we had to do it or lose $50 each. When we were leaving, we heard them yelling to other tourists "Jet Skis - $50!" Can you believe that? Scam artists! I hope someone can do something about them before they keep doing this to everyone that believes them.

The round-trip shuttle to your hotel is free of charge. The $50 half hour charge is for the waverunner.Must like the rental car companies I've called, taxes and gas are additional.I just called a waverunner rental company in Fort Lauderdale and was quoted $105 total price for half hour rental. No shuttle available.Parking extra,21 or over to rent,$500 deposit required per waverunner.

Horrible Scam!!

My 16 year old daughter and two nieces (18 and 26) went to Fort Lauderdale for the week. They had never traveled without adults before, and, needless to say, I was a bit concerned. I spoke to everyone I could (desk receptionist and concierge at their hotel,...) and found out about this company. I called the week before the trip and spoke to "Chris"; he told me that they rent jet skis for $55.00 for a half hour, a shuttle and gas were included in the price. When my girls got to their hotel, they called Wave Blast Water Sports 2 and were told the same information. When they finally got there, they were told that they would be charged $82.00!!!!! Of course, they said they have a no-refund policy. After much drama, they lowered the price to $75.00 for the half hour. When I found out, I was outraged! I then called the company again (from my Texas home), and spoke to Chris again. He didn't know who I was. I asked him about jet skis and he AGAIN told me that it would be $55.00 for the half hour. When I told him who I was and what had just happened, he said it was TAXES! Imagine, 36% in taxes! Outrageous! The owner "Zack" is supposed to call me back - well, let's face it, it not going to happen. This company is a horrible scam.

SCAM Please read!

It is in a good location but that is about the only good thing. You have to stay within about a 400ft by 800ft square in thier site for starters.

They told us it would be $85/ person INLCUDING GAS AND TAXES but after dirving there it was $120 but we still paid because it was cheaper than at South Beach and we already drove an hour to get there.

We paid for an hour and after half an hour they signalled us in, but we didnt realize it had only been half an hour until we had walked back to the vehicle. At that point we did not want to go back out and wanted to only pay for half an hour, but they refused and said that it was their policy that there was no refunds. There were not signs posted stating that and we were told that it was in the waiver we signed. This waiver was a badly, hardly readable photo copy. We thought it was a safety waiver. They still charged us for 1 hour when we only rode for half an hour.

Take warning and go to one of the other 20 around the area it was a complete joke!
