General Info

The Pomeroy Public Library has been in operation since 1914. It offers a collection of books and reference materials for readers. The library provides a variety of magazines and DVDs, as well as audiovisual tapes and books. The Pomeroy Public Library organizes school classroom visits, library tours and special activities for children. The library conducts a summer reading program. It also offers history books and newspapers on microfilms. The Pomeroy Public Library provides a selection of large print books. It offers membership opportunities in its Best-Sellers Club. It issues library cards and provides the federal and state tax forms. In addition, the library is an administrative unit of Meigs Local School District Library.
