We had the absolute WORST experience with the dealer at this uhaul. I called this location to inquire about a reservation I was in the process of placing online for a 17 ft. truck for 2 days. I was moving from Pocatello to Burley, and because so many of the trucks are being taken one-way out of Pocatello, I was offered an online special that if I would bring the truck back to Pocatello rather than leaving it in Burley, I could rent it for 2 days and up to 172 miles for only $24, which would save me a lot of money, despite having to pay for the gas on the way back to Pocatello and then back to Burley in our car. So I called inquiring about this deal, and the man at this location was extremely rude to me, condescendingly calling me "sweetheart," and telling me I was "misinterpreting" the online deal and was "confused." After assuring him I was NOT confused, I asked for and received his email address, and then sent him my reservation info showing the special and its terms. He actually HUNG UP on me, twice, while I was talking to him, saying he needed to help other customers. After an hour, he finally called me back (after I emailed him twice and gave him my contact information, since he said he'd call me back before hanging up on me, but of course didn't ask for my phone number), and he told me that since it was a "modified reservation," he couldn't help me because his "system" wouldn't allow it. He told me that only a "uhaul center" could process it, and not just any dealership. I thought it was ridiculous, but was fed up and didn't want to deal with him anyway by that point, so my husband and I went to the uhaul center on 5th avenue instead. Once we got there, we received excellent customer service, and the man working there actually told us the man at U-haul Neighborhood Dealer on Pole Line LIED to us, and that he had the exact same system as all the other uhauls and could have processed our reservation just fine. He in turn called a corporate office and told them that this dealer "refused to take care of the customer," and had us out the door with our truck in less than 10 minutes. Right as we were driving off, the man from this dealership on Pole Line called me to tell me he'd taken care of everything for us and had sent our reservation info over to 5th avenue (which I highly doubt he did, and of course by that point didn't even matter, as we'd already given him our reservation information and were driving off in the truck). I think he realized how much trouble he was going to be in for blatantly lying to and refusing to help a customer, and was trying to save himself. Which he did not. I HIGHLY recommend staying away from this dealer and going to the center on 5th avenue. It'll save you from being talked down to and lied to.
