Swedish Massage
Swedish massage at our Plymouth massage center is the style that comes to mind when most people think about massage. It was developed in Stockholm a couple of centuries ago and is the most common and best-known type form of bodywork performed today.
Deep Tissue Massage
The Deep tissue / Therapeutic massage we perform at our Plymouth massage center is similar to Swedish massage but is used to target knots and release chronic muscle tension. If you have pain or tension in a specific area of your body, massaging those muscles along with other muscles with that particular referral pain, will help alleviate the pain that is occurring. Our deep tissue massage therapist will assist you to become more aware of your posture and educate you about the muscular system. Our Deep tissue massage therapist will incorporate stretches in the massage and show you how to stretch at home to aid in the healing process. This massage is good for chronic pain, general soreness or stiffness, loss of range of motion, neck pain, TMJ (grinding, clenching), low back pain, sciatica, knee problems, carpal tunnel syndrome, rotator cuff problems and much more.
Sports Massage
Sports massage is geared toward athletes of every kind, from world-class professionals to weekend joggers. The particulars of the massage are specific to the athlete's sport of choice and are often focused on a particular troublesome area like a knee or shoulder.
Craniosacral Massage
The craniosacral system consists of a tough membrane that surrounds and protects the brain and spinal cord. Within that membrane is cerebral spinal fluid (CSF). Its function is to produce, circulate, and reabsorb the CSF. We monitor the rhythm and release or manipulate any restricted areas with the intention the body will start to heal itself. This technique enhances the body's own natural healing processes. The technique is a very gentle touch, about the weight of the nickel. Some people have a hard time feeling any movement during this treatment, because it is such a light touch. Our suggestion is to have an open mind and to only focus on what is going on inside. It is suggested to only think about what is happening and nothing else. The 10 step session (full body) can last 40 min to more than an hour. This treatment is non-intrusive and client may be fully clothed. It can also be used alone on specific areas during a regular massage session. This treatment helps; chronic pain, migraines, chronic fatigue, scoliosis, TMJ, post traumatic stress, falls, herniated discs, vertigo, and much more.

E have introduced Electric Stimulation, Ultrasound Therapy, and Cold Laser Therapy to our treatment menu! These therapies are used in medical offices across the US and we are proud to be able to offer them to you. They have proven to be very effective with remarkable improvements noticed in as little as 3 visits!

Chiropractic Services

Chiropractic Adjustments
We are both trained in a number of different adjusting techniques that we can use to ensure patient comfort while improving your condition. Chiropractic adjusting involves first placing the patient in a specific set-up position. Depending on the joint to be adjusted the set-up position may have the patient lying on their stomach, back, side or sitting up. The doctor then applies a preload force to the joint in question with the hand. A very quick short thrust is then applied by the doctor to the joint. This thrust imparts movement in the joint which may or may not result in an audible click or pop sound. Chiropractic adjustments have been shown to relieve pain, relax muscles, and increase movement.

She has taken various classes expanding her knowledge in areas including myofascial release, stretching, and the relationship between the mind and body. She is state licensed and a member of Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals.
