Overall

I actually did very well with them. One time I couldn't pay for 3 months and they were very considerate. Of course, I hadn't missed a payment for 3 consecutive years so I guess that helped. The interest rate was a bit high but not outrageous. My loan was for 48 months. I would use them again. Thank You Summit Financial!

Finance vehicle through them 2 months ago my daughter had went to the hospital for epilepsy she's 4 months old I called them and let them know about it and told them I can make a payment today and they told me no and this ain't about your daughter it's about the vehicle you didn't make the payment now we are possessing it because we are high-risk Finance Company not like other finance companies so now I'm going to call Channel 8 news A Better Business Bureau and I'm going to put them in the spotlight I know the bad thing is I told him I had the documentation to prove all of it that I've been out of work because my daughter's been in the hospital she's 4 months old and then they tell me it's not about my daughter

Worst customer service. Their rates may b usary; varies depending on the state. I had the vehicle for 3 months and didn't receive a bill. I requested a bill which is my right under the law and the person I was speaking with caught an attitude. I said I would address this with the Finance Director at the dealership. He saw the contract and immediately told me to bring the car back and he was gonna cancel the contract. I feel like I should get the insurance back I paid during the 3 months I had it. I will be following up with an attorney to see what legal recourse I may have. If you are in the state of Florida and they charged you more than 25% you too may have recourse; consult an attorney

I bought my car almost 2 years ago and Summit has been very good. The customer service reps have been very nice and helpful. Yes, my interest rate is high but that's my own fault due to my credit. My credit score is getting much better now.

I agree i got involved with these people by my daughter getting a car in my name I have been paying these people for over a year and when I went to trade this carin for a cheaper car payment the company told the car dealer I still owe 15,000 and when I calculated what I paid which is almost 10,000 i was suprise that I will be paying 25,000 for a car that's not even worth 10,000, now I asked them for a copy of my contract and they had the nerve to asked me what I wanted it for, I almost cursed that lady out, but I was in control and asked told the lady it was none of her business, and why she needed me to asked me that is something crooked going and they don't want me to know. I'll see if they send it, or I'll have them investigated because if I asked for my contract then it should be no problem sending me my contract

Is funny how people bad mouth this corporation when in first place you had to thank them to accept you as a client. I have poor credit my fault, Got a high interest loan my fault and been late and the had always worked with me all the way. Yes charges suck they high but they gave us the opportunity :) Just saying lol.

Worst financial company ever! I understand my husband and I have poor credit, and that our interest rate will be much higher than the usual couple, but this company and their representatives are plain TERRIBLE. They are rude to us and treat us like we are not important. We had accidently shorted our monthly payment by $1.00 exactly, and they failed to tell us about the $10 a day charge that is added to our account. 12 days had gone by and we owed them $120 just for being short $1.00... Instead of working with us, they (LITERALLY, WORD FOR WORD) told us that it was our fault and that we need to be responsible with our account. After speaking through 3 uneducated representatives, we OURSELVES resolved the situation. If a car dealership mentions this lender, STAY AWAY! They charged us $12,000 just for allowing them to give us an auto loan for our $15,000 car.. all in all, we owe a little over $30,000 for our $15,000 car. Biggest mistake in our lives!



ALSO, they are so unprofessional! They do NOT send out receipts for your payments, and do not send out a physical copy of your balance as you make your monthly payments. The only way for you to know your balance is if you call each month, and that's saying you get a representative that knows what he/she is talking about! BEWARE! The place we got our car made this lender seem like the greatest thing in the world!

WORST COMPANY TO FINANCE WITH EVER!! they tried to tell me that my payment jumped 30$ with no notice. I am contacting my lawyer and they will be handeling this situation. They never send you mail letting you know about your payment or a summary of what you owe left like any other financing company. They need BBB to investigate them and put a stop to what they are doing. I understand I screwed over my credit when I was in college, but for you to then up someones car note with out notice is illegal!
