Overall

Like the person below, I don't usually take my time out to write about a store, manager, situation, ect. But, I would like to thank Kevin Crawford, the general manager of the Walmart at 6001 N.Central- Plano, Tx. 75023. I had a problem with, and exchanged several words wih one of the "Manager's" there on Friday morning after Christmas. She was very hateful, had no people skills, and what I would consider an all around liability to the store. Understand, I've been shopping at this Walmart for decades. Before it was a "SUPER WALMART". I got ahold of Kevin and explained the situation to him. He took the time to go back, look at the film, and see that the event took place exactly how I explained it to him. He was genuinely concerned, and very apologetic. In lieu of giving me any kind of gift card (not what I wanted, nor deemed necessary), Kevin said he would make a donation from Walmart today to Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. At the beginning of today, I wasn't going to set one foot back in that store. After dealing with Kevin, I have every intention of going back!!! I know there are alot of rude, obnoxious, lazy, and just down right jerks at the places that we frequent. I'm here to tell you that Kevin Crawford will take care of you if the situation calls for it!! Thanks Kevin!! I sooo wish their were more like you out there!!!

I usually don't take the time to write reviews about stores etc. But after repeated bad experiences at this Walmart 6001 N. Central Plano.Texas. I decided too. My daughter and I went in on June 6, 2012 to buy groceries and the first place we went was the produce department. I picked up a bag of Russet potatoes and the bag was INVESTED with bugs. I picked up a few more bags and found that they were all invested as well. Now while I am getting grossed out by this their are three Walmart employee's in the department working. One is the grocery manager the other is also a manager and the third person is working to restock the produce. The reason I am bringing this point up is because while I am trying to find some descent produce to buy not one of these employee's seems to be aware of, or to be more accurate seems to care that the quality of there produce sucks. Now I can see having one bad item, but then I go over to the Avocado section. At first sight I can see that every one of these Avocado's are over ripe. I pick one up and it literally falls apart in my hand. I pick up a couple of more and they do the same. The guy who is working the produce area is seeing every bit of this and doesn't even seem to care. I even say something to him and and all he does is laugh about it. So I go over to the grocery managers who you would think would first of all never have let their department even get into that kind of poor shape. But I go over and tell them about the invested potatoes and the rotten Avocados and of course they say "Thank you for telling us!" and then walk off. My daughter said "That was a waste of time, they didn't even care." I said your right and we won't come back to this store again. Now to be fair their is a new Walmart up the road in Allen which I should have gone to in the first place. Anyway we went there and that store was clean and the produce department was in excellent shape. Though they didn't have any Avocados but there produce manager probably had the good sense to not put out bad product. You can see I gave the 6001 Central & Springcreek store one star. I was trying to be generous. This store is always in disarray, there produce department is the worst I have every seen. And the customer service is non existent.

First of all: I got a bike in ...

First of all: I got a bike in that store yesterday. At first nobody was there to help, finally some girl came in 20 minutes' time after our arrival. The bike we got was simply terrible and didn't work the way it was supposed to and some parts of it were missing. I bought a replacement plan for it, so today I tried to contact the store to know their work hours and explained that I'd like to replace the bike, the lady on the phone sounded like she had no idea that the store sells bikes or something, she asked me to explain what exactly I wanted, I had to repeat the problem twice, then she asked me to hold on and simply stopped talking to me. I have no idea what the problem of this store is.
