Pittsburgh Chess Club is a nonprofit organization serving the needs of chess players in Pittsburgh and Allegheny County, Pa. The club provides chess classes for students of grades kindergarten to 12. It has a chess library and a wide range of chess equipment. The club organizes various chess tournaments, such as Fred Sorensen Memorial, Annual Catholic Schools Championship and Pittsburgh Class Championship. It also organizes exhibitions and quick-chess quads. The club also runs various chess championships for learners and intermediate-level players throughout the year. Under the Chess-for-Pittsburgh-Youth program, the club offers free chess classes to the students of the Pittsburgh School District. Pittsburgh Chess Club is located in Pittsburgh.
