During the post digging my main line was split by their shovel. No big deal, just a delay for a couple hours to fix the line. My mistake was not having the lines marked by utilities company.

Fence is installed, however the double gates were too high off the ground, leaving a sizeable gap for which our puppy could crawl through. The whole purpose of the new section of fence was for the pup.

No problem, says owner, and they raise the ground and re-apply the grass slab. All seems well and good.

Fast forward a couple month after some rain, including the hurricane down pours, the soil washes away and there sits a 2 x 4 used to raise the turf. So they had packed the dirt and grass over the board to conceal it, instead of doing it the right way.

Fast forward to today. Wake up to a yard full of standing water and active water spurting up next to fence post. Now this makes sense after my last month water bill reading was about $90 higher than normal, but there was no sign of a leak at that point.

My plumber comes on site 30 min after I call them and digs to find the line completely in two now. The main line is made of a product named PEX (or cross-linked polyethylene). Why is this important? PEX requires a high-pressure coupling system that is crimped on. Vickers went to Lowe's and picked up PVC parts, primer, & glue to patch the line. PEX is NOT designed to be glued. My line finally blew apart due to Vicker's lack of plumbing knowledge. Out $255.

Lessons learned:
- Mark utilities (don't trust two hand held wire rods that owner used)
- Use actual plumbers for any line breaks (or fence company that hires plumbers)
- Look into ALL sources of reviews online and your community neighbors. Unfortunately there were not a lot of reviews, so I discounted an occasional bad listing.
- Look elsewhere for fencing company

This was by far the worst experience I have ever encountered. Contract called for a completion date of 05-17-2015 but was not completed until yesterday, 02-16-2016, 9 months after the contract completion date. Also, supplies were ordered short of amount to complete the job and I was expected to pay additional for the additional amount to complete. When I refused, I was told that I was dishonest. In addition, the main gate was installed completely opposite with the control unit for the keypad on the OUTSIDE of the fence instead of the inside as it should have been which is no security at all. In addition, the workers did Not clean up after themselves and left for us to clean up. We were told up front that it would take approximately 10 days for the job to be completed from start to finish. The contract was signed 03-17-2015 and job was completed 02-16-2016; 11 MONTHS!!! Everything was an excuse as to why things were not done on a timely basis - always someone else's fault.
