General Info: Dive-Tech International, Inc. has been providing high quality underwater welding and cutting services throughout the southeastern United States and the Caribbean for over twenty five years. Underwater cutting is accomplished by using an ultrathermic oxygen cutting torch and consumable rods. Underwater cutting is the most efficient, cost effective means of completing underwater tasks that involve cutting, piercing, or gouging. The rods burn in excess of 10,000 degrees Fahrenheit and can be used to cut or melt through almost anything including cast iron, stainless steel, brass, and other ferrous and non-ferrous metals. From cutting a cable out of the drives on a tugboat, to cutting off an H-pile, DTI has the expertise to handle specific job needs.
