Pinehurst Surgical

Doctors are too insulated from their patients resulting in incomplete and poor care. I have never been able to see a doctor for my gyn care and visits for the 3 years I have been a patient at the Womens Care Clinc of Pinehurst Surgical. Each time I have been scheduled to see a Nurse Practioner. Not being told in advance that I would not be seeing the doctor. I finally had to insist on seeing the doctor. Chemo caused gyn problems, so I do not feel 100 confident in not being seen by the doctor ever. I recently had a question about the correct way to reduce/stop taking a medication causing bad side effects. I called 3 times and left 3 messages over 12 days and never received a call back. I am looking for another practice. Only when I requested copies of my medical files, did they tell me that a doctor would be calling me back and schedule my next appointment with the doctor. Very, very distressing. They have a beautiful new facility but the patient care procedures and practice need to be updated as well
