Dr. Maki is a Clinical and Interventional Cardiologist and does procedures, including coronary intervention, peripheral angioplasty and stenting, pacemaker insertion, and cardiovascular diagnosis and prevention. He is the clinical director for cardiac computed tomography. Dr. Maki is a board certified in cardiovascular CT, interventional cardiology, cardiovascular disease and internal medicine with over 30 years of experience. He has been recognized by Phoenix Magazine as a Top Doc for more than 10 years. Dr. Peter Maki is one of the original founders of Biltmore Cardiology, which originated in 1994. After graduating from Occidental College with honors in 1973, Dr. Maki attended University of Arizona Medical School, obtaining his medical degree. Dr. Maki did his internal medicine training and cardiology training at Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts.
