National Car Rental

The emerald club process is the best experience I have ever had in renting a car. It was quick and easy to locate and select a vehicle. It took five minutes to go from the bus drop-off to driving away and three of those minutes were walking to the garage. Returning the car was a similarly easy process and took less than two minutes. I will definitely use National Car Rental again.

Very helpful staff. Great selection of different sizes and models of cars. Car was very clean. The check out and check in procedure was easy and fast.

Our Dodge Charger was fabulous!! Unfortunately, the employee who checked us back in must have run off with our GPS since you claim to have not found it in the car, even though there were numerous electronic devices listed on your lost and found. Very sad.

I've been an Emerald Club member for ~10 years now, and this rental was one of my worst experiences. Although I had a reservation, there was nothing but minivans available in the Emerald Club aisle. I was finally brought a low end Hyundai, but not the quality of vehicle or the service I was expecting.

This was my first experience as an Emerald Club member. The service was fast and efficient. The selection of vehicles was outstanding! I would recommend the Emerald Club to anyone,

I always use National Car and this last rental really drove home why I do. We were on vacation on Phoenix visiting family. We accidentally left an Ipad under the seat of the car we rented. National Car found it, and emailed me letting me know what they found and how I wanted to get it back; mail it or pick it up. I was very impressed by the fact that it was turned in at all. I figured as soon as someone found it, it would be gone. Obviously National Car is a great place for renting cars but also employees honest people with integrity! How refreshing!

Always a great customer experience. Staff is always attentive / personable. I have found that exec emerald aisle is always a customer friendly experience.

The employees at Phoenix airport have significant room for improvement. I made my reservation for this car far in advance. When I arrived at the airport, there was a long line of people waiting for cars. NONE were in the lot. We had to wait for 4 employees to go run and get cars and come back. When the 4 showed up, you took what was available. There was no attempt to try to provide what people had asked for. It was a cluster. I waited more than 20 minutes. Others waited far longer. An employee explained that 50 cars had been reserved that hour and they were having a hard time catching up. This means someone didn’t look at the reservations ahead of time and make sure there were plenty of cars available in the lot. This is unacceptable. People make reservations for a reason. This was exceptionally poor planning. My company has two contracts with rental car companies. I will go back to using the other carrier. I decided to ‘try’ National and regret that decision.

I'm in Emerald Club member and I found the process to be quite easy, fast, and just what was needed in the busy day of travel

I am an Emerald club member. I like the fact that I can just walk up an pick a car. Don't leave anything behind with value though. You won't find it in the lost and found. I had a nice portable phone charger. It's black so I didn't see it in the center console when I was rushing out. I left it in the car. Checked with lost & found a week later. No luck.

National did a fantastic job as usual. The car was in excellent condition. The service at the Rental Car Center was exemplary.

Easy as usual when picking up from National; however, it would be nice if when leaving the garage they would tell you that there are no gas stations anywhere around the Phoenix airport. Had to pay National to refill the tank.

Hassle free pick up and drop off. Great selection of cars. Will continue to use National as my preferred rental company in PHX.

Rented recently in PHX at airport and I was able to pull up my reservation at the kiosk proceed to the cars and had a choice of cars and they were all good and left within minutes no hassles.

Avoid this location at all costs. A wallet was stolen out of my car by an employee. Management has not expressed any concern, beyond the fact that they are not responsible. They have the "there's no evidence" speech down, it must be a common occurrence. Never again.

Had to make last-minute change and National worked with us; no extra fees. Absolutely loved being able to select car from a group of five or six. Got more car than we anticipated. Kids were thrilled at how much space we had.

They're kind and much helpful.
