All the reviews I see for Bridgewater are very old and very negative, and it's not giving an accurate picture of what this place now is. I can't speak for its past, but I can promise you that the complex is much nicer than the rating it currently has. It's not the St. Regis; it's not pretending to be. But my experience here so far has been really easy, undisturbed, convenient, and drama-free. You shouldn't be weary about checking this place out if you have reasonable standards for this price range. As of May 2017, studios are in the range of $550 - $600. There are one bedroom apartments too.
In general, these are older units with some spruce-ups. Some are renovated; some are furnished. Overall, the apartments are great for someone starting out on their own or are new to the area. It's basic, safe, and relatively inviting.
I have not experienced any ghetto behavior here at all or the loudness that another reviewer spoke of. It's entirely possible, even probable, that SOMETHING is gonna go down at some point, but honestly, that's every building and apartment complex in the nation.
It depends on your credit, but for me, there was no deposit, a $50 application fee and a $200 non-refundable "move in fee". You can also pay weekly at around $200/week + application fee, but I was told that there's a $100 lease transfer fee if you want to go monthly and a 4-week minimum. Still, if you're really that concerned about liking the place or your unit or are running low on funds and need to pay weekly, it's an option.
With no hoops and a place that's—at the very least—completely decent, it's still a great value despite the fees and made my life way smoother. I am someone who cannot stand pointless fixation and meddling during the rental application process, and there was zero of that for me here. The application process and lease was simple and very straight-forward. I got the vibe that they would have some type of flexibility for your credit/background situation.

I would not even recommend this to Hitler himself, because he would then be even more angry at the world.

No disposal, illegally poor ac unit, refrigerator is one giant freezer, huge gap under and around front door, power surges are common and ac units breaking is not a high priority to staff or management. Waited 4 days to get ac fixed, only to be told they don't go below 80 degrees. In Arizona ac is Very important!!!!

Very poor utilities, pretty much nonexistent. Car has been broken into twice, in one month. Unprofessional management, leading to extreamly poor service. I agree this place should be Condemned, unless they fix all the utilities and replace the management.

Apartment temperature of most apartments, does not reach below 85 degrees. You will be miserable living here. Please do not live here!
