I had been using Bekelian Auto for repairs since 2007. The service and prices used to be top notch until the manager Tom Murphy's employment ended. Since then John had taken over and the service along with the honest prices have disappeared. I brought in an older vehicle that had been sitting for a couple of years and spoke to Abe Bekelian. I advised him the vehicle had been sitting and needed work. I made the agreement was that Bekelian would care and repair the vehicle until it could be used for a safe dependable daily driver. He then handed me over to John the new manager. There was little communication on their end and I had to initiate contact myself on a regular basis. One day I received a call from John stating that the vehicle needed the carburetor replaced and it was going to cost me $1500.00 for a new/rebuilt one. I told him that sounded pretty steep for a 1994 Isuzu pickup. I asked him to not order the carburetor and give me a chance to do some research to find a better price. I found a place in Florida that was asking $295.00. I called John and gave him the information to order the part. Again no communication until sometime later. I finally received a call from John stating the vehicle was ready for me to pick up. I went down to Bekelian Auto and was told that "there were hidden costs with the carburetor". So instead of the $295.00 it was going to cost me $695.00. This information was not communicated to me and I was not notified of the price increase until arriving at the shop office. I was upset but remained calm and was excited to finally have the vehicle in the condition that I asked. After paying the bill I went outside to claim the vehicle. The condition of the vehicle was not even close to what we had discussed and agreed upon. The answer I got was "just drive it for a bit and then bring it back down". At that point I took the vehicle home and decided they would no longer be receiving my business or anyone that I know. My truck was running very rough and backfiring. I noticed after I got home that they didn't even change the oil!

So part 2 to this story. I took the vehicle to Tony's Auto Repair on 35th & Camelback. After inspection of the vehicle I was told that the carburetor needed to be rebuilt and that who ever serviced it beforehand had no idea how to tune a carburetor and had given up halfway into the job. I called Bekelian and advised them of the information I received. The parts manager didn't seem surprised and quickly took my name and phone number. He said he would "look into the warranty coverage and call me back". Guess what? No call. I even called down to speak with Abe Bekelian and was told that he was to busy to take my call. Stay far away from this place!

I had no experience in car buying. I bought a Ford Mustang around 6 months ago from these people. It was listed for $11,300 on autotraders. I expected the price to be atleast $2000 more. These guys turned out to be so pushy and good sales man (for me atleast) that they sold the car in $15000 to me. Plus I had to pay $2600 for extended coverage and GAP coverage.

I trusted these guy's as they stated that the car is ultimate and every reconditioning has been done by them. Only now I came to know from my service agency that the 30K mile service was declined for this car. (Car fax did not list it). Also, I will have to spend another $1500 for it to make it good.

Man, I am screwed :(

Take my advice, do not go here if you are a common man like me :(

A year ago i purchased a vechile from 2020 automotive group. The staff was very unprofessional and unpleasant! The price that is listed on the car is not the final price. They add on their dealer fees of nearly 3000.00! Now today i call to see about coming in for my refund check on GAP insurance that was purchased and what do you know they are out of business. So now i will proceed with further actions.

My friend puchased his car at 2020 and had a great experience so he suggested that I purchased my car there as well. I'm so glad I did... I had the best car buying experience. I walked into a showroom with friendly sales people who were knowledgeable and honest. They answered all my questions and had a great selection of cars to show me. If you want to buy from people who are honest and not pushy to make a sale, this is where you should go.

Watch out for this so called auto group, the sales force is a bunch of puppets covering for a family of corrupt Armenian Gypsies. You won’t get a straight answer about anything from these people! The Attorney General’s office is reportedly investigating them for white collar crimes. Stay away!

I drove over from Peoria to purchase a vehicle listed by 2020 on auto trader for a set price. I contacted them 2 times that day to inquire availability and also price. I was greeted by a sales man by the name of Nick Parks. I told him that I’ve seen the vehicle listed for multiple prices and if he could find out if the auto trader price is accurate. He came back after talking to his manager and said it was. I proceeded with test driving the vehicle. Nick had us follow him inside for him to come back with a price of $11920.00 plus TTL. (3 THOUSAND OVER AUTO TRADER) He explained it had to do with added features such as window tint and vehicle etch. At this point I was very angry and demanded that they look the vehicle up for themselves on auto trader. They did and it showed $8920.00. They said for me to read the fine print. I gave them a FINE good bye and drove away.

**IF YOU WANT AN EXPERENCE LIKE ABOVE PROCEED WITH 2020. I HIGHLY SUGGEST YOU RUN NOT WALK AWAY FROM THIS AUTOGROUP!
