Headquartered in Philadelphia, Resources for Human Development is a nonprofit organization that provides a variety of services for individuals and families. Established in 1970, the organization provides residential services for individuals with mental illness and disabilities and chemical addiction. It offers transportation, job training and crisis intervention services for homeless individuals. Resources for Human Development provides primary health care services for the residents of local housing facilities. The organization is funded by the Department of Health and Human Services, Department of Housing & Urban Development and Department of Labor. It serves in Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Louisiana, Massachusetts, North Carolina and New Jersey.
